  1. Definately Ford here in northwest Georgia. Toyota second. Then GM. Then Chrysler.
  2. I've seen around 8 or 10 in the past few months. Most of those were in my little bitty town.
  3. Haha. I flipped my '99 Ranger, it rolled 5 times and it din't look NEAR this bad. I was fine, the door even opened when I tried to get out.
  4. Naw, it's just that, for once, C&D got something right.
  5. Are you calling Jesus a clown?!?! God is secretive? Look around you. Think for a moment.
  6. I can tell you I know for a fact God is real. On Monday, 11/24/08, I flipped my truck 5 times then hit a tree. Of course, the truck is totaled. Right before it happened, I said a prayer, asking God to protect me and my family because it was raining and the roads were very slick. I was going over a hill and I guess I hit a slick spot in the road (this is a dangerous road, anyway) and my rear wheels started spinning. When they did, the rear end started to fish tail and the truck went over into the other lane. I was turning into the skid and trying to keep from hitting the oncoming car in the other lane. I turned the wheel to the right to avoid hitting that car. When I did, the truck slid into the ditch. (I was only going about 35 mph, by the way.) It all happened so fast, I didn't know what was happening. I remember seeing dirt flying everywhere and the truck starting to turn over. I didn't realize what was happening. I remember seeing the windshield shatter, then everything goes blank. I remember just before the truck stopped, I screamed, "God, help me." Then the truck stopped. I had on my seatbelt. The tree is what stopped me. There was a guy and a girl in an Explorer at the same spot that had wrecked just a few minutes before I did; they were waiting on the police to get there. In total, there were 3 accidents at that same spot that day. I escaped with only scrapes and bruises and a mild concussion. I realize that had God not been protecting me, my funeral would have been yesterday. I can never thank Him enough. He saved my life.
  7. Why do you think Explorers sold so well? People knew they were reliable. My Mom had a 1995 Ford Windstar for 225,000 reliable miles.
  8. According to Consumer Reports (which you can RARELY trust), the Yukon XL has "much worse than average" reliability while the Expedition EL has "better than average" reliability. I would take the Expedition EL over the Yukon XL/Suburban any day. The Expedition EL is roomier, more reliable, and less expensive.
  9. A Fusion will definately last more that 170,000 miles. Heck, my dad has a '99 Escort with almost 200,000 miles on it and it's still running as strong as it was when he bought it.
  10. Did you mean 2006 Fusion? There were no 2005 Fusions.
  11. Are you sure? Motor Trend said the Focus is getting a 6 speed for 2009. Oh well.
  12. I don't know, here in northwest Georgia, gas went from between $4.01-4.05 a gallon down to $3.79-3.89 a gallon in one day.
  13. I understand. But, I'm the one that's gonna pay for it, not my parents. They're just gonna pay the insurance until I get a ticket or have an accident that's my fault. But, I'm a good driver, believe it or not.
  14. Actually, according to J.D. Power, the 2002 and newer Lincoln LS's had 3.5 power circles, which is above average. Just because I want a nice vehicle DOES NOT mean that I'm a prick.
  15. I thought that cancer had nothing to do with your immune system. Cancer cells are abnormal cells that grow rapidly out of control.
  16. Hahaha! Finally someone that understands! Just kidding.
  17. I still don't understand why one should start out with a pile of junk if one is able to get a better vehicle. If you start out with a piece of crap, all the repairs will cost alot of money that a 16 year-old doesn't have!
  18. OK. I'm not COMPLETELY overlooking the V6s, but I'm leaning more towards the V8s. Since you have such a high opinion of the V6s, I'll make sure to check them out. Thanks!
  19. I don't quite agree, but... whatever makes you happy. This is 2008. An '01, '02, or '03 LS wouldn't exactly be "new(ish)."
