  1. ^^^ the 16 order guide from day 1 on the Explorer has always said mft. If they want to cancel their order or get pissed, that is on them for setting their own expectations incorrectly. And there is only 1 person who said they are canceling in the morning. Again, that is on them.
  2. So after clicking through the link, I fail to see how they are even coming up with this schedule. They are basing it off of the order guides and those change many times through a MY. There is nothing that says that they won't update the order guide mid cycle for the addition of Sync 3 and removal of MFT. I don't even understand how they have a 2017 order guide (clearly doesn't exist) unless they are saying it will be in 2017 because it is missing from the 2016 order guides. And going with that, why is the F series, Focus and Taurus saying unclear if it follows what I just stated.. if it's missing from the 16 order guide, then shouldn't they be saying those 3 will be on the 2017 MY??
  3. @sully, yes, the 16 Explorer was supposed to be the 1st vehicle with sync 3.
  4. Ooops.. didn't realize this was the employee section. Text removed.
  5. Man.. as much as I dislike GM, I would be all over this if it was near me. http://www.chevrolet.com/spark-ev-electric-vehicle.html
  6. Pages 2, 3 and 5 I believe have the links to all the bulbs. Take some pics of the mud guards.. I've been debating on getting them. I heard that weather tech makes decent ones for the truck.
  7. Husky Liners, X-act Contour is the mat type I got. # 53321 - fronts # 53401 - rears
  8. Here is a long thread that I started about my truck. Page 2, 3 and 5 are mostly the LED interior/exterior bulbs with pics of before/after and links to part numbers on Amazon. http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/general-6-7-discussion/760530-2015-bronze-fire-review.html Might want to go through the whole thing.. lots of good info from myself as well as others contributing. I was torn between the KR and Platinum.. I LOVED the 2 tone look of the KR in Bronze Fire and that is what I was really after but back when I was ordering, there was a "late availability" of the 20" KR rims so that is why I changed to the Platinum. I had a 15 ordered since January and ended up reordering in April when I found out that there was a ton of issues with the 15s at the factory last year. The only thing I do not like about the KR is the painted/lighted side steps. If I got the Chrome package to get the chrome side steps, I was then stuck with the crap Chrome Clad wheels (don't like them lol). The Platinum gave me the best of both worlds, chrome package with chrome steps but Aluminum painted rims. Not going to lie.. really contemplated having my auto body do the lower two tone on my truck but didn't want to lose the factory quality paint.
  9. Congrats on the truck!! I received my Bronze Fire last May (came from a 07 6.0).. still have not seen another one in my state yet.. I originally had a KR ordered and then changed to a platinum. Pictures do not do this color justice. It is amazing how it is a dark burgundy in the shade and when the sun is out, it is a fire orange. I have tried and tried to get a picture of my truck showing how orange it looks in the sun but it is quite difficult. If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend going powerstroke.org.. A ton of info to learn on these trucks!! This is the best one I've been able to get with my camera. PS - As far as your warranty and maintenance plans go.. I HIGHLY recommend canceling through your dealer and going through my contact. He sells them both $100 over cost and I bet you paid far more then that. If you want to PM me, I can discuss further with you. I have also converted all my interiors and my 3rd brake light to LEDs.. I can get you all the bulb numbers if needed.
  10. When a vehicle has a design flaw/defect (not necessarily talking about this issue with the Edge) to where there are TONS of vehicles having the exact same failure, EVERY manufacturer should be looking at this defect, coming up with a fix and then performing that fix on the vehicles. We are not talking about a random failure, we are talking about 100s to 1,000s of vehicles that are experiencing the exact same failure. I brought this up last year and will mention it again. The software update that Ford released for the Explorer EPAS is not a fix. Explorer's are still experiencing failures all the way up to the 2015 MY. This failure started with the 11MY and has now continued for FIVE model years... the EXACT same failure!! If an Explorer owner took their Ex in to have the software updated per the recall issued, per Ford "we have met our obligations for the recall". Guess what, if the EPAS fails a week later, Ford not tells the customer that they need to pay for the $1,800 replacement. In fact, this happened to an owner a few weeks ago... They had the reflash done, the EPAS actually failed driving home from the dealer and FORD told them that they have to pay for the replacement because the recall was already performed. Give me a break.. the software reflash did NOTHING to prevent the EPAS from failing and Ford needs to step up and cover this crap system.. It is no different then the fans failing on the Explorer's either.. they are failing way to often on all MYs and a customer should be expected to not having their cooling system fail in 3 years or 4 years.. Let me be clear on my point.. I am not talking about a random water pump failure, random strut failure, random alternator failure (yes, out of warranty, customer pay..).. I am talking about the EXACT same problem happening over and over and over again across all MYs (even happening multiple times on the same vehicle).. this should be on the manufacturer, not the owner. PS - I buy ESPs on all my vehicles.. 6/125 on my Explorer, 5/100 on my 07 F250 (sold) and just bought an 8yr/100k on my 15 F350.

  12. There really isn't much new here. Ford will have a mega cab like the RAM for 2017. Not sure if that is the picture of it or not but it is indeed an option with the redesign. I've was told yesterday that there will be more pictures "leaked" in the next 2-3 weeks.
  13. Man.. They need to build this vehicle exactly as it is shown!!! This vehicle is a BEAUTY!!! And I 2nd the comment, Please don't F this up...
  14. How did a 2017 SD thread turn into this mess??? Off topic much?
  15. At an 18 day average on the lot before being sold, I can see why they won't trade vehicles (January, not sure about February). They are moving almost as fast as they arrive.
  16. Sometimes I wish the Plaintiffs would NOT settle and take them to court just because it is what they deserve. Instead of just cashing in, bring it to trial and let the public see everything. If I was a victim or it was my child that was a victim, no amount of money is going to make it better. What would make it better is the company getting what it deserves and that is making it all public knowledge.. not an undisclosed check. Can't tell me these cases are not slam dunks!
  17. Just to help you out... 9.) If I have previously given you an update and in that update there was a specific date listed of something to happen next in the production run, please don't ask me for any more updates until that date has passed. ETA 3/27 - Can't request another one till after that.
  18. Uh Oh!! https://autos.yahoo.com/news/cover-allegations-against-gm-192800527.html
  19. This pic is legit. It was taken in Dearborn.. Not one positive comment on this truck on either of the Ford Diesel forums I spend time on. I think it is a really bad angle and really bad lighting.. but ugh.. what the hell is Ford thinking. Makes me very happy I invested in my 8 year ESP on my 2015 F350..
  20. I was told around $200k by the same person who told me they had 3 prototypes running around before the GT was ever announced (I posted on here about them). I am going to trust his info over any other speculation. Now what dealers do for markups.. well that is a different story. Was also told a 2 year run so we will see.
