So do you find the rear camera blurry? When I test drove one I didn't think it was blurry but then I've never had a back-up camera before.

Chrysler 300c also. I can't believe lincoln didn't make these LED's available for daytime driving. I agree they'd be a neat look.

Actually, my order remains intact. My dealer simply removed option 66C (Multi Contour Seats) from my order and it didn't affect my place in line. In fact, it very well may be moved to near the front of the line as I'm told.

Thanks, yea I was ready to cash in the contour seats because I'm ready to take delivery. My wife asked if I wanted to wait for the 14 MY! Affirmatively I said "no way". My Lincoln LS is over 10 years old and I'm ready for my new "Z".

I received confirmation today that the Contour seats are gone for the MKZ for the 13 MY. I'd been holding out hope for a late availability but after reading here, I called my dealer and asked for confirmation on what I had heard. It required a deeper than usual search as all ordering information they had still showed option 66C. I don't know he he ended up calling but claimed he spoke with an engineer that gave him confirmation. Oh we'll, the seats in the model I test drove with the 103A heated/cooled seats were very comfortable. The good news is that with a Priority 1 build, he said my build date should be most definitely moved up from the scheduled week of May 6.

It's interesting to see these but I just can't imagine we're going to get a serious "leaker" image before Ford wants us to; given that the 15 MY will be the big five-O.

I like to back up looking out the door too. That may take some getting used to for me.

So does your test drive version have no wood accent? The one I ordered does albeit not as much wood as in my current LS. It seems that Lincoln did go light on the amount of wood in this car especially with regards to the steering wheel. How did you qualify for this 48 hour test drive? I'd love to be able to do that while waiting for my scheduled build date to roll around in mid May! I echo the appreciation for the detailed report and look forward to hearing more.

I called me dealer this morning and asked him to get me confirmation that the contour seats are cancelled for the model year 13! I will post back when I hear back.

I am a priority 1. He sent the report from Lincoln and I have it with option 66c which is the contour seats intact. I do think it's worth asking them to give me a confirmation though as I've read the Donnelly report. I'm holding out hope that Donnelly is wrong and I have a ton of hope that my independently owned dealership will come through for me. I know it's not the dealership's determination of availability but I'm hoping Donnelly is wrong.

I understand the anxious feeling that many people have awaiting their pre-ordered car's delivery. I ordered mine December 15th and I think due to my option selection my car is delayed. I just want to say I have it worse than everybody here. My car has been issued a build date as of 3 weeks ago of The week of May 6th. I have a thin, glimmer of hope that it will be moved up but I have minimal optimism that will happen. My point is that I only buy a new daily driver once every 10 years or so, so I'm being patient. Nonetheless, I'm like each of you in that I want my car. All of you tracking your car with great anticipation are well ahead of me in this waiting game.

But now the really important question. Does ramping up production translate into my scheduled build date of the week of May 6th being moved up, or does that ever happen once a car has been scheduled?

I just can't see Ford hanging up the full size sedan market. What about the new PI, isn't it just getting up to stride. Without doubt we're downscaling here in the states but it sure seems like too much, too soon to scrap the full size sedan.

You beat me to these same points right down to the tail lights. It just seems strange that they'd have it so heavily camoed given that they've already unveiled the concept which is sure to be close the production version.

Aside from that---that claim that these reviews make totally lacks accuracy! There is an entire laundry list of features found on the MKZ that are not available on the Fusion.

I must admit, the deep sixing of the contour seats comment caught my interest as my order has been delayed for this option and I've been patient. However, if this has gone away permanently for the 13's I want to to confirm this.

That's how I position the seat in my LS but I'm a 31/34 pant size, a real lard a$$ eh. My issue with the higher belt line comes when washing the vehicle by hand, as I do. With the wife's Edge I quickly realized there's a heck of a lot of sheetmetal on this thing to wash.

I had to phone Lincoln Makers Program number to get mine re-sent and it arrived in just a few days. It's good to call to ensure you're enrolled in their data base anyway. It was quick and they confirmed my enrollment in almost no time. I don't have the number but I would recomend doing this.
