  1. I see quite a few XLRs, in fact I saw one today. Of course living across the street (basically) from a Cadillac (Ed Morse/Baview, not Coral, Ford-150) dealer helps. Lets see, I've seen 2 or 3 Ford GTs on the road. In fact, either last year or 2 years ago, a parent from my school had a White GT with blue stripes.....it looked amazing, I got to look at it nice and close. I love those cars.
  2. I too am interested in the 5.4's improvements.

    MKS Ecoboost

Well, if this is an EcoBoost model, it's possible it could have some slight cosmetic upgrades.....I don't know if it's been confirmed, but we all (at least I have) assumed that, for example, the EB model would get fender vents. Possibly some bigger exhaust pipes as well?

    MKS Ecoboost

I see.....I know I love the distinct sound of Mustang driving by. With Mustangs, you don't even need to look to know it's a Mustang. I also loved it when we had one when our Expy was in the shop. I'd assume it'd perform similarly to the EcoBoost Taurus in that video vs. the STS.
  5. I know the grille should be darker....it was 3 or 4 in the morning the night before it was due when I finished it, so I couldn't do exact details too well. I'll fix it when I get it back......along with my GT500KR's grille (see other thread), which suffers from the same problem. The little Jag emblems are the pattern, I agree, it wasn't very good, but as I said, that's all I could come up with at 3/4 in the morning.....my original plan was to have the grille detailing be the pattern, but that would've taken forever. I also planned to put the word "Jaguar" in "Jaguar" script in the bottom right corner, but my teacher didn't want that. You said have the C-XF emblem in the background, what would you say about putting it on the road below the Jaguar, so you could see/read it better? And it's not a very good picture....I took it with my phone, so....
  6. MKX would too be my guess, based on US sales increases. MKZ could've contributed slightly, as suv_guy said, but MKX is likely the majority of the increase. I'm not sure how Navigators sell up there, but I suppose it's possible it could've had a slight increase as well. BTW, welcome to BOF, TurboP7!
  7. I was kidding, unless you actually wanted to.
  8. Ok, sounds good. Did you see my Jaguar Collage thread in the Photochops section?
  9. I agree.....I wish the salespeople would be more educated about the products they're selling. I find it annoying (but funny) when I have to tell the salesperson features of the car.
  10. Maybe you could alter a Camaro? I'm sure there'll be some out there.
  11. According to Lutz, global warming is a crock of sh*t. He's a skeptic to global warming. He says his quest for more fuel efficient vehicles is driven by his desire to reduce foreign oil consumption, rather than CO2 emissions. He also says, "My opinion doesn't matter [at GM]."
  12. http://www.leftlanenews.com/nissan-maxima-future.html Here's the new Maxima to be debuted at New York. A diesel version is likely to come with the possiblity of a hybrid version as well. To me the taillights look like the new Opel Insignia(?)/Saturn Aura. The trunk lid also appears to gain some BMW Bangle-butt influence. The headlights look wider than they are currently as well.
  13. http://www.leftlanenews.com/chevrolet-camaro-2.html Photographers have spotted the new Camaro undisguised in Detroit.
  14. http://www.leftlanenews.com/no-trans-am-pl...or-pontiac.html Pontiac won't recieve it's own version of the Camaro, despite dealer's desire for one. GM cites CAFE regulations as the main setback.....and is also the cause of them rethinking their Pontiac strategy. Despite this news, Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealers will be recieving 12 new products or special editions/models in the next 2 years.
  15. http://www.leftlanenews.com/chevrolet-aveo-3.html Here's the new and ugly Aveo 3-door. The Verve will destroy this thing and all the other little b-cars.
  16. http://www.leftlanenews.com/report-2009-ca...ve-in-july.html According to sources, the 09 XLR will either arrive in July as a production model, or the concept of the 09 model will be shown in July. They believe if it's a production model to be shown in July, it's only a light refresh/redesign, but if a concept, it'll be completely new. Engine selections are still up in the air as well, but XLR will not recieve Corvette ZR-1's 620-hp LS9.
  17. I can see a bit of G6 in it's design. I'd rather have this than a Solara, if anything, just to avoid Toyota.
  18. That's probably it's only advantage.
  19. That'd be nice. Can anyone smuggle the questions and answers out of NBC's vault?
  20. I'd take one in a heartbeat, even though an Edge may be more useful. I'd have to learn how to drive a manual to drive it, but I'd still take it, although insurance would be pretty expensive.
  21. Not sure if your mom's Escape has this feature, but Ford products have the auto-lock that locks at a certain speed after you begin to drive.
