  1. And a great looking one, too. It was my assumption back when the Zephyr came out, that it's remake would move toward the concept's design, and it appears that it will influence the new MKZ in the rear (MKS in front). I'm curious (I never saw it in person), is the Zephyr concept really the size of the Zephyr/MKZ? It looks bigger in pictures.
  2. That thing is still beautiful!! BTW, we need a proper "drool" emoticon: one where he's sitting there with his mouth open and drool coming out.
  3. Is it possible that they added a handle on the trunklid? In the new spy picture, there is an "opening" (sort of) in the trunk cladding/covering.
  4. I agree, I too hope the front is slightly different.....this design isn't bad, really the only thing that bothers me is the different grille bar thicknesses. I'm not the biggest fan of the rear taillight/trunk lid treatment either, but somebody said it was sent back to be changed.
  5. No, it's a 3-4 year old concept by now. Although, if vehicles like the X6 and Land Rover's competitor are successes, I'd assume down the road, you could see a vehicle similar to it.
  6. Road testing, or air cooling testing are likely reasons.
  7. I knew I should've bought some stock when it was at $5.40. Ford stock closed at $6.69 today, a $0.02 or 0.30% increase over yesterday's results.
  8. I like it too, the green compliments the blue nicely, IMO.
  9. Maybe I'm having comprehension problems, but could you explain this to me. So you're saying, I should've realized he was dead if he was before my time. Oh, I think I get it now....when I said before my time, I meant the show (and Steve McQueen as well, then)
  10. Thanks, I knew it was in that 30K region. So, anyways, it seems like (approx.) 167,000 would disagree with you, Pioneer.
  11. I really don't like where Honda (and Acura) is going with it's design language. They're trying to overstyle their vehicles, IMO. That said however, I do think the new accords look nice, although to me, the back of the sedan almost looks unfinished. But unfortunately, like Toyota with thier "T", the below statement will likely be true. \/ (that's a down arrow)
  12. According to my dad's 2004 brochure, if I'm reading it right, the SuperCrew 4x2 w/ 5.4 was able to tow 7050 lbs, while the SuperCrew 4x4 was able to tow 7200 lbs.
  13. If you think Fits are bad, think of what would happen to a Smart car.
  14. I agree they look stupid, but since GM used the same headlamp shape as the normal Escalade, I can understand why. When designed with LEDs from the beginning, I'm sure they'd look fine on a vehicle. I also think it's pretty cool technology.
  15. I do have to agree with Ford-150, Furious. I think the wheels and headlights aren't that great looking (even though I did them). At most should be the grille. As I said though, the interior looks nice.
  16. No, unfortunately, I haven't, but it's in the works (eventually).
  17. Good work. A couple things.... I like the other rear you did (one with the less pronounced circle/tire hump type detailing) better than this new one. I do however like the new shoulders with the improved upkick in the sheetmetal, ala Continental and the rest of the desing. In regards to the front, I'm not so sure the bow-wave MK grille works on this more squarish design. The headlights look kinda dinky as well. I understand where you're coming from and why you did that though.
  18. I see a lot of F-150s like that near me as well. I like it a lot, and for those of you that have read above, I've changed my mind about the taillights after seeing more pictures, I think they look fine. You all are commenting on the large amounts of chrome on the Platinum ediditon (or maybe your mean other versions), but there really isn't too much chrome on the truck....the grille and tailgate are some sort of satin aluminum finish (I believe), the chrome I see is the wheels, lower door trim, taillights, and headlights. Other than that theres not much else chrome.
  19. I was going to say, how do you know that 3rd row access is horrible on the Flex? Also, a diesel is being put into the Expedition in 09/10, which will assist with fuel economy numbers, if that interests you.
  20. I know we have quite a bit of stop and go traffic down here in South Florida, so in a big city type environment, I believe a hybrid truck could do well.
  21. Pictures can be very decieving though, sizewise.
  22. Well thanks, I use MS Paint to do them too. LOL
  23. I'd have to agree with you, sorry Waylon.
