  1. Good review, I read it this morning. BTW, is that you in the 3rd row legroom pictures? I noticed you commented about the mirror cutout. I also dislike that. It seems to be spreading across the Ford lineup. The F-150 has it, the Explorer has it, the new Expedition has it, the Taurus X has it, who knows what else has it.
  2. http://www.leftlanenews.com/nissan-recalls...y-vehicles.html Nissan is recalling 11,511 2009 Muranos and 4,854 2008 CX35s for a faulty airbag sensor that may cause the airbag not to deploy in a crash. No injuries have been reported yet.
  3. I've noticed that on the GM trucks as well. Actually, I am guilty of once driving without my headlights on (but with running/parking lights on). It was in our old '99 M3 convertible.....I had stopped to pick up a friend at their house and turned the headlights off, but left the parking lights on (as to not disturb my friends parents inside) and didn't realize I had left the headlights off until we reached our destination. That said, I was driving in a well lit main road (Federal Hwy/US-1), so that's the main reason I didn't notice they were off. The car was a pre-automatic lights vehicle as well.
  4. There's the 270 number they released, but aren't Ford's estimates usually on the lower side. Wasn't the 3.5 estimated lower than the 265-hp it is?
  5. You're right. Mazda's is it's own version that it developed.
  6. Well, now Ford will have Edge and Flex being the medium and large crossovers, respectively with Explorer fitting right in the middle. I agree that the TX was a good idea. As you stated, sales have been increasing, and I've seen a lot more of the new TXs than I ever did of Freestyles. Explorer will be the Lambda like vehicle for Ford when it's redone.
  7. I've said they should give it to Mercury for some time now. And Flex will slot into it's place in the lineup.
  8. Yes, Porsche is attempting still to take over VW. The VW group consists of: Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, SEAT, Škoda, Volkswagen, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
  9. So, a truck that can tow 24,500 lbs isn't a "Heavy Duty" truck?
  10. That doesn't make much sense to me either.
  11. The CVs cops are relatively easy to spot. As you said, Impalas are hard to tell. I've notice the Chargers are hard to tell as well, since some people like to dark tint their windows even on cheaper models (this was happening before the police package was available.), making it harder to spot undercover Chargers. That's one advantage of switching vehicles, drivers aren't used to the new vehicles as cop cars.
  12. I know a parent of a kid at my school is an undercover cop. She obviously drives a . The few giveaways for here "undercover" car are the usual cheap (but decent looking, for a cop car) chrome hubcaps, dark tinted windows, multiple antennae, and two LED lightbar/squares in the grille.
  13. Hey, Ford's not the only one doing the ricer-chrome/Focus taillights:
  14. I've heard that model is to be discontinued or at least redesigned under a different name. In other words, I believe the EU Fusion name is going away in some form.
  15. I think the problem isn't the crease running from the lower center grille, I think the problem is the lower center grille. I think it's too square for the otherwise fairly curvy design. And I'd agree that the concept looks better (even though I didn't see it at last year's NAIAS: it and the C-XF were pulled before the public show ).
  16. I believe he's talking about it not being a Camry beater in the US....we all know Camry failed in Europe.
  17. I like the Verve sedan as well.....I don't understand what the "take that" comment was about.
  18. Since when was it the most popular bodystyle HERE in the US?
  19. Are you talking to me or FordLOL?
  20. Let me ask you this then....what's the difference between "parking lights" and GM's "daytime running lights", which on many of the products (Cadillac CTS, STS, etc) was just an illuminated turn signal all the time, just like parking lights? Usually, I turn them on to illuminate the guages, it's still light out and people are able to see me well, otherwise, as I said, I'd turn all the lights on.
