Oh yeah, congrats to Ford.
Even if it is a New England-area award, hey, it's still an award.
I still hope to push one, but by the time I can get a new car, it will be time for the next-gen Taurus, I believe.

Since you asked and all...
A question about the interior, particularly the center stack...
Has anyone seen a pic of the interior without the nav system? Is Lincoln gonna do like Nissan and have the same screen there regardless of whether or not there is a nav system, or will there be a smaller display?
What's REALLY interesting is how Sable comes standard with some options that cost extra on Taurus (remote start is the only one I can think of now)... but, fully loaded, the Sable Premier AWD is a few hundred less than the Taurus Limited AWD.
The Mountaineer has the same idiosyncrasy.
If the Mercury is supposed to be an uplevel trim of Ford, they better do a better job of it...
Back on topic, though, it looks like GM was able to keep the fully-loaded price down by not offering several options, probably so that the car wouldn't cross over into sport-luxury and compete with the CTS.
So, then, my question is this, because I've heard several conflicting reports...
Will every model be standard with AWD? Because I shudder to think of 300+ horses pulling a D3 sedan instead of pushing it.
