  1. So...how does a rear defroster work on a Wrangler or Bronco? Also since rear cameras are not required, is that really necessary? Maybe a heated rear camera instead?
  2. So Ford Mexico has starting selling the Transit Courier: https://www.ford.mx/camiones/transit/courier/2021/
  3. And you think Ford only needs one plant for the Lightning? They will have both...
  4. Ford has already announced major investments in Michigan. You don't invest only in your home state, you have to diversify to other states.
  5. They probably took a near production front end from the Ranger and graphed it on.
  6. It's priced lower, but only by $175... Most people are going to go for the 3 row vehicle with that type of price difference.
  7. Looks like the front clip molded on the body of the current end. Everest usually launches 2 years behind the Ranger, so early mule.
  8. Anything that is Good for Rivian is good for Ford. An evaluation of $80 billion is good news for Ford's investment.
  9. Has AMG-line or M-Sport hurt AMG or M value for Mercedes or BMW?
  10. My JK Wrangler went through three soft tops in 6 years. First was too small, so they fitted a larger one. Early JKs had this issue. Second ripped from a seem about 18 months in. Third, they finally got the fabric right, but it still kept on losing screws in the hinge between the front and rear doors.
  11. You have to wonder what % Ford's ownership of Rivian is up to now. We never were given the % before this, so maybe 10%-20%?
  12. Everest hasn't taken off with the current get the way the Ranger has, but the potential is huge as proven by the sales of both the Prado and Fortuner. I believe part of that may due to Ford emphasizing Ranger production over Everest.
  13. Was not aware they were consolidating production to just Mexico. That may help Ranger as well.
  14. The quote got disconnected to yours, but was pointing out that since Toyota has multiple factories churning out Tacomas for NA, it would be hard for Ford to meet its production volume. But with the extra options, Raptor, and regular cab, Ford should be able to take a larger share.
  15. So they can't use Maverick Grabber for the sport version of the Maverick?
  16. That and the Tacoma is built at multiple factories.
  17. Thunderbird was a personal luxury coupe for most of its life. If they are going to rebirth it, they should make it a 4 door crossover coupe. The 4 door crossover coupe is the personal luxury coupe of today. And make it electric of course.
  18. The TC being built in Mexico along with the BS and Maverick should also allow AWD to be an option.
  19. When the Fusion/MkZ were there, I remember it was around 350,000 at 3 shifts. Not sure if running three models that are all a bit different will reduce it or not.
  20. So the Ranger regular cab has been spotted testing in the US, so I wonder if they were just testing the global model...or will they bring it back to NA.
