  1. ....so what day do we get paid the profit sharing?
  2. Need to lose the chrome or give it a blacked out look and color key the wheels.
  3. What's the problem with being from Rawsonville? Not everybody is like Goddard!!
  4. If they have 40 years in and don't have it saved by now....and the $100k doesn't do it, they will NEVER retire!!!
  5. It looks like alot of "new work" coming to these plants you list. At Rawsonville, all the items listed are already in motion...nothing new to us. Question is??? how many other plants are like this, where the work listed is already happening and not really news in the contract but put in there to look like they just negotiated it???
  6. Page 519 of agreement, under definitions...top of page. Not to exceed $12,000. Why should Sharonville get the products?? Can they be filled with 100% tier 2? Didn't think so. No reason why this plant shouldn't be filled up.
  7. WRONG!! "I" have NEVER voted for Joel in my 17 years here....NEVER. Matter of fact, most people say they didn't either. "I" never have.
  8. Since this is a personal vote, it has personal aspects to the choice... I'm at Rawsonville. There are no NEW product committments coming to us. What they mention has already been in motion. Nothing new and what is in motion isn't much for jobs. Secondly, it would be our "fixed" profit share. The company does not want "fixed" costs on us, like raises and cola, but it's ok to say that too much profit and they cannot "share" with us.
  9. Thanks. I found it. Even though 12k is alot for an annual profit share, there should be NO CAP. We should all share in the profit, not matter how large. This is unfare. That gives them a "fixed" number against us but we cannot have fixed raises or the such.... VOTE NO
  10. I'm not for the contract, but can you please point out where the 12 thou max is in the contract? The highlights mention an average of $20 thou over the life of contract. Please point out the page number.... Thanks
  11. http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/region/detroit/uaw-and-ford-reach-tentative-contract-agreement
  12. oooh oooh ooooh, I got the email tooo!!!
  13. This is sad. Maybe it was posted to get hits to their site, but the message got out to people that may have not known. No need to bicker about the little bs here. Let it just be a post about a fallen brother and offer your prayers or thoughts. Prayers to his family.
  14. Not sure about your cha ching... Since when is $5k worth what we've lost over the last couple of years? Yeah, more product committments would be great for us, but there needs to be make up for what we lost, that should still be in place going forward. ....and on the profit sharing, I personally would like to see quarterly checks. It would be a nice bonus every 3 months.
  15. I am putting in for a new version of the Lightning. I have no use for a Raptor, although they are nice. I'd rather a pcikup that can do serious dragstrip duty again.
  16. .....not to stir it up but............. I was told by a comm. man that this indeed is in the works, to put the blue oval back at Saline.......... I guess we'll really find out next September. Flame on......
  17. Pipefitter is needed in Chicagooooooo... posted at Rawsonville.
  18. If you quite making payments, it will take about 6 months to go to a sheriff sale. You then have about 6 months after that to reconcile your defaulted loan, or get out. So there is about a year or so that you can live there without making payments.
  19. Believe in Rawsonville? Sure. I want my job here as much as the next..... BUT, SEEING is BELIEVING. You know jobs are leaving us, production being cut. Just how many jobs are being kept for the battery job? The request are real, yet demanding... and nobody wants to put the numbers up. WHY??? Is the number so small it becomes a backlash? The public seems to think we are getting a thousand jobs. Very misleading from the news standpoint. Even with all the cleaning up in area A, the bathrooms that were closed up- up there have been revamped and yet we're told not to go overboard because they are shutting them back down after after the pony show is over. That just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...
  20. Car was built...on April 6th. Is completed, but now on hold.
  21. Does anyone know of a hold on the '11 GT or GT/CS specifically? I have a relative that has one ordered, has been built, but was told there was a hold on it, but didn't know why. Any info? Thanks
  22. Don't get those happy feet just because some people are coming in. That's silly. Just look at what sits in Die Cast. A whole lot of brand new equipment slated for a plant and it sits. I won't believe it until it is here and our employees are working on it. BTW...how many jobs are slated for that job? That will be the real celebration depending on that number!
  23. Some of us are too busy with home life to come to the meeting. Why don't you fill us in on why it was so good? Better yet, get the union to post the meeting minutes.
  24. Come on....are you serious that you cannot see what he is saying? Can't you see the writing on the wall? What has he done for us? You don't have to show up to any meeting to see this. .... and no, I don't go to the monthly crony conventions.
  25. The 2011 Mustang can be ordered now. I know of one that was ordered already. I'd go to a different dealer if I was you.
