  1. Had nominations last weekend for positions, today the chairperson changed the districts. I have never seen so many people as mad as they are now. Now the only skilled trades rep that I have full time is on day shift. I am an afternoon shift trades employee in trim and final. I am not allowed to vote on my only skilled trades committeeman because I have a production/skilled trades rep on afternoons?? It has been the same way for 27 years now this!!!!!! The production/skilled rep on afternoons never does anything for us because he covers production, so how can this happen?? Now only a small group of people can vote on the only skilled trades committeeman. The amount of wrongdoing going on in this plant needs to stop. As long as people remember to vote against Bob Madden and Tony Bondy, that would be a start. God Help Us
  2. Woppo is an idiot, I am now dumber for ready what he wrote. Thanks
  3. Stamping and body shop can not keep up, the downtime is unreal, Dearborn is putting together a plan to get rid of most of the management that is left there from the mazda days. They came in this week raising hell...
  4. Yea, vehicle operations were worried about capacity with escape/Mkc, they are looking at moving to Frap if needed, changes being made already for mks, Lincoln is low volume product....
  5. Yea, vehicle operations were worried about capacity with escape/Mkc, they are looking at moving to Frap if needed, changes being made already for mks, Lincoln is low volume product....
  6. I guess bodyshop is adding on again for no reason
  7. That is what we are being told, Mkc and mks are the next two products
  8. Layoff because of low quality on builds. No timeframe onbringing build numbers up. 2 shifts building mustang and fusion equaling 300 cars a day together, not going well...
  9. Mkc and mustang launching next year, with mks and Taurus after that in flat rock
  10. That's close but not close to what it is going to look like.
  11. I said current model mustang line ending early 2014, when that is gone new line coming in. 2015 mustang is going on fusion line in body shop.
  12. Just seen plant layout plans for when the current mustang line is torn out and mks taurus line put in
  13. Yea its sad. You should of seen our meetings with iuaw there. It was good until iuaw told people to shut the f up and we work for them. I bet come next contract less than 10 percent of work force at Frap will pay dues. With all 2tier and union doing whatever company wants to get appointed jobs for family and nothing fir the workforce its gonna get worse. What's gonna happen when I retire and its all 2nd tier workers working and they have no retirement.......shoot even new salary employees have a "ford retirement plan" where union emploees do not get
  14. Not sure how iuaw is going to handle the mass amount of people who stop paying dues. I don't know anyone who says they are going to continue when new contract allows us to stop paying. Iuaw is a joke.
  15. You could have all welders on one shift. It don't matter what your trade is. Everyone asked to do same jobs. It is crazy at flat rock. Back yard mechanic mentality here. We are running fusion and mustang now. You cover one area sometimes with a partner but mostly work by yourself. In body shop right now on day shift there have been days we run with only 12 tradesmen total. Usually couple electricians and rest mechanical. Run around like a chicken with head cut off fixing shut.
  16. If it is like flat rock, u better get under or bend over the desk if u get a reference in. Everyone I talk to on the floor is a Michigan talent bank services hire. The few referrals have the last names as so and so....
  17. Interesting to see what happens. Like to see aws go away. With so many two tier workers, not sure we will get anything money wise.
