  1. It is the number one complaint from drivers on the road though.
  2. And that is why the quality will never be fixed at Ford. It really is an archaic way to do business IMHO.
  3. Both cost money and one tarnishes the company name and pisses customers off. It's an easy dissension if you ask me!
  4. No one owns one? I can't believe it!

I just sold it last week. I owned it since 1985 and got it on the road in 2001.
  6. Anyone have one and if so did you get the handling package? I'm looking to get one but have heard the handling package is not worth the price for street use.
  7. Okay I'll give you that. But do you honestly think that things will change under the new guy? I doubt it will. It's just corporate speak to appease the customer.
  8. It's been going on for decades and it should have been fixed years ago. How's that for logic?
  9. Recall number 5 on Maverick....Quality is improving NOT. Did they fire the quality head guy yet? https://www.motorbiscuit.com/not-again-2022-ford-maverick-has-another-recall/
  10. This is only recall number 5 on the Maverick since introduced.
  11. A face only a mother could love.......
  12. Looks better than the Escape for sure, plus more power and less money.
  13. I guess that's why Ford has so many recalls. Don't do it right the first time, let the customer deal with it later then we'll fix it. That is just plain stupid business practice. And that's why I have said in other threads that the talk of fixing the quality issues at Ford is just Blah, blah, blah........They will never change ever
  14. These engineers should go to a dealership for a week and see just how stupid some of the designs are when having to do repairs. It should be mandatory for them to go.
  15. Oh now I feel better. I just thought someone screwed up. Glad no one got fired over this.
  16. Can someone please tell me why stuff like this isn't caught in testing. They run all sorts of test with instruments and probes and they can't see that something hot with oil and fuel vapors near by would be a problem if a leak developed?
  17. Because of Ford's dismal quality record. Maybe a fire or two?
  18. Let's see if they say the same thing after a year or two of ownership.
