  1. the initial fleet (2 or 3) that was driving around about 8 months ago were chopped up Everests wearing very heavy camo, and only being driven around at night. They were about the size of an Escape, maybe slightly bigger. To the best of my knowledge they have been off the road for some time now and by now theyve probably been destroyed.
  2. Focus and C-Max had it on all 4 doors in 2012 and 2013. It was changed for 2014.
  3. Ford has already done the Bill Ford Jr. as CEO bit. The board probably wouldnt approve it and hes said in the time after Mullaly took over he didnt really want the job anyway.
  4. I would think the new Focus and maybe Escape would be part of this too, as well as mention of the new C platform in some capacity. I really hope they mention the Bronco beyond just the ultra vague Coming Soon tag. At least when they announced the Ranger initially they said late 2018.
  5. Finally confirm Fiesta, Flex and Taurus are done entirely or in the case of Fiesta, done in North America
  6. The new Edge looks to be growing in size a bit too.
  7. The need for green is vomit inducing. Just FYI.
  8. I honestly don't really know how that's determined.
  9. Again, this sounds like a case of them either flat out lying to you, or just being lazy. 6-10 weeks is typical but since Navigators are in VERY high demand and being built on a line with 2 other very high demand vehicles, order times are starting to be stretched longer than usual. Its a good problem to have but not one that's easily solvable. VIN 5LMJJ3TT1JEL09711 Scheduled to Day (Apr-09-2018)
  10. Well damn Still interesting factoid though
  11. A. Where did you see that? B. Ours is still going to come from Louisville Assembly.
  12. Heres one hell of a trivia question for you guys Who is the only NASCAR driver to ever make at least one start in the cup series in every make entered in the modern era? -Chevy -Ford -Dodge -Toyota -Pontiac -Buick -Mercury -Chrysler -Oldsmobile The answer surprised me
  13. People have toured the Mustang plant and followed their car as its being built. No idea how someone goes about doing that though.
  14. VINs aren't built in sequential order for a myriad of reasons. A lot of it has to do with order priority and dealer allocation. Yours was built on March 7th. Awaiting Shipment Origin Received - (Jack Cooper Transport ) ETA March 13-19 You must live fairly close to Louisville for it to have an ETA that soon.
  15. Weird they "haven't been able to give you a build date". They gave you a VIN. That can't happen until it's scheduled to be built. Either they're flat out lying or just being lazy Scheduled to Week (Week -of Apr-16-2018 )
  16. Yes, the COTUS site works just as terribly for Lincolns as it does for Fords. In Transit Passing (Csx Transportation ) Obannon, KY ETA April 2-8
  17. looking at it pragmatically rather than the knee jerk reaction I had earlier, this is likely exactly what happened
  18. When I get mine Ill let you all know what I get. Do a decent mix of city and highway on my commute to work.
  19. and it looks ok on the Ranger. Looks like dogshit on the Everest
  20. I think youre missing my point. The Ranger as is will do ok but I think theres something to be said for a supercab with the 2.5 and 10R. People looking for a smaller work truck would eat that up.
  21. That front end looks ok on the Ranger. Ass ugly on an SUV
  22. Thats the running theory. Selfishly, I dont like it. I would rather build more and have more people working than downsizing an entire shift worth of people for the sake of saving money.
