  1. Somebody I knew from high school got killed at a red light. He was 23. I think he was engaged, too. There's more important things in life than risking your life on one of those things.
  2. The era of cheap money appears to be coming to an end so it will be interesting to see how they adjust.
  3. This looks pretty good. Bronco meets the personal luxury car. I think using some 60s Continental cues would look very appropriate. Also a retractable glass roof is a must. It needs to be seen as something other than a budget G wagon though.
  4. They really shouldn't have used the Lightning name for the electric model. The electric counterpart doesn't need a quirky name/nomenclature attached to it. So silly.
  5. That's pretty much what the Republican Party used to be about generations ago prior to Reagan. In retrospect, I think the demise of the WASP establishment has been a huge loss for the country. They weren't perfect, but they had a sense of duty and stewardship that's so incredibly rare among the current political class.
  6. A hypothetical Lincoln variant doesn't necessarily have to have a unique body as the Mustang's surface language can pass a Lincoln. A unique front and rear clip would do the job just fine. The Mustang's proportions are absolutely perfect for a Mark coupe. Interestingly, the proportions of the original Mustang were inspired by the Continental Mark II.
  7. Ideally, so should the Mustang. Related: I saw an Aviator today and admired how nice it looked. It would be a real shame if they ditched CD6.
  8. But should it be a generic sports sedan or something special like a CLS-like Mark IX 4-door coupe?
  9. I own an Expedition and absolutely hate driving it on roads with narrow lanes and narrow shoulders. Also, parking it is not fun. Other than that, it's a comfortable vehicle to drive. With that being said, I'm getting ready to order an M340i as my new daily. lol
  10. Totally agree with your last point. A new Falcon or whatever would be a much more practical offering than a Mustang fastback sedan.
  11. Wish they would offer something more interesting other than those $8k "special edition" black-painted wheels and roof packages.
  12. This looks pretty decent. I wish it didn't have the unnecessary "Bronco" decal though.
  13. The heritage colors clash with the black plastic - very hokey on a modern vehicle.
  14. Oof. It looks like I'll be keeping my 2021 for a while.
  15. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything they can do about that. The segments that traditionally elevated a brand's image no longer sell as well as they used to. They're pretty much stuck with crossovers.
  16. My Facebook feed is full of "recommended" posts that are all AI. The images that I see are so unsettling. lol The golden age of the web is sadly over.
  17. The disadvantages of a removable top aren't worth it for me considering the few nice weather days we get here.
  18. I had a 2009 Eddie Bauer. I loved it except for the cheap interior, which I thought was a downgrade from the 2002-2005 model. Yeah, I would have gotten a Mountaineer had it had a better interior.
