  1. came close to a Raptor, but got the 150 limited instead. Going to downsize the limited to a honda Ridgeline. Great Ford truck every option Ford has but just too big for running around town. So downsized the Escalade to a Aviator, and now the Ford to Ridgeline. So far not having any issues so many are having with early build lincolns. But than didnt get a battery Aviator
  2. Has anyone found a vendor who is offering good prices on the OEM sets. Free shipping
  3. speaking of window stickers. Mine came without one. Is there a way to get an OEM replacement
  4. what been saying if,, if my order comes in. Thinking it will be worst than the builds before shut down. sure Ford was in a hurry to get things moving ASAP, any start up glitches will be looked over ?????? Bet a on lot versus order now be the same
  5. How many miles a year does one have to drive for a EV, to be worth it. When got my Cadillac, they had a EV sedan. The salesman was against them due to range. I drive about 2,000 miles a years. Thought be good for me ??? If do get an aviator, Just run local around town. . Interested in a Tesla, not being green, just hate trips to the gas station. Not sure on all electric yet. Added Any mods or people working at the plant know if any aviators have come off the line. Place where have the order has sold none, all what had before the chinese sent a present. A place in Dallas still show 95 or 100. So plenty out there if someone wants one on the lot
  6. My feelings exactly that going to be a lemon. Our local lincoln dealer is going out of business, so getting a lemon worked on will be at the Ford dealership. They said could since its just a Ford. Only reason hanging in there like the looks a little better than an XT6. All my cadillacs have been great, even the 18 escalade trading. AT the moment sticking with the aviator order, if get a text saying, just cant get the order, will high tail it to the local Caddy place. Thinking quality will take a step backwards. With the Coronavirus. factory idled, people distracted with the disease, parts available, on an on. If like me and find have a problem car will just take it to Cadillac and trade it in, no messing with warranty. Than go with the aviator. If breakdown going to be an issue for you, having to keep the car, go with something else ADD, on waiting till 2021, its just going to be a roll over. Maybe by the last part of 2021 issues will be addressed. Otherwise just a problem late model 2020 rolling into early 2021 ?????
  7. would say no way. I still have a 2020 on order, yeap will get a year old vehicle if even get it built. Right now reading all the post not sure want the car. Sounds like they are real lemons. I could have cancelled and brought one off another lot but sure dont want an earlier build. A guaranteed lemon. I know they are early units since been watching before the corona virus, they been sitting for what 3 month. lincoln just cant sell them I guess, even with social distancing would think at least 1 would sell. Not a good feeling when sales are so dead. Even the dealership where ordered can't sell one. the demo unit drove still there with a discount as are 2 others. Sales said car/truck selling, slower, but selling, just not lincolns
  8. My escalade will do it, what a jolt. Usually the warning chimes get louder than wham it stops, LOL LOL can really catch you by surprise. I my case its a bush, i know its there, its not going to hurt the car, caddy does not know this and it stops. Guess it could come in handy if not the bush i know about
  9. On the 4wd F150 owners reporting a pop, grind, from the front IWE during turns, Its some solenoid they say. IF the lincoln has a similar setup in the rear causing a noise...
  10. Would say all problems prior to march will still be there. Was hoping by waiting they would be addressing some issues. Shut down apparently stopped all in the tracks. So march problems are just going to be June problems. Reading all the comments sure dont want a locator unit that has been sitting on a lot since the first of the year. If stick out the order, going to be interesting if find self trading sooner than later due to issues. Its going to be a gamble
  11. I agree 300 miles and taking the engine out. Like heart surgery,, alot of complex items all have to get put back in the right place. They say professionals, nah, usually some young guy been to tech school, trying to follow a diagram on the screen, in the end a human hoping all goes right . The leak might be the least of your worries.
  12. I did contact another dealer, that has the model ordered, same color and specs. They are 150 miles away but dont seem to be that interested in a long distance deal. Think have located another one 200 miles away in the opposite direction LOL. If this one does not get back,. Lincoln does not seem to care right now. Trying to stay optimistic , on an Aviator. Cadillac have called twice and offered to do a locate. The mercedes dealer tried to do a locate, but only 1 model that fits my specs in the US. Its a amg, and I want a rare pkg. Wrong color. But more than lincoln has done during these times
  13. Yeah basically buying a year old car. Reason trading a 18 Escalade with 8,000 miles is want to downsize. usually Trade every couple of years. so always take a huge hit on depreciation. Think going to see a lot of problem when production resumes, workers want to be there, some don't, ones that are, going to more concerned with being too close to co-workers than building the car ????
  14. Once feel comfortable about being around people (car salesman's) maybe should do so some second thought looking. would think Lincoln might want to keep people from jumping ship, keep in contact, or offer some incentive to go ahead and wait an ordered unit out. BMW is really keeping in touch, Cadillac still sends emails and keeping in touch. Have a local Mercedes dealer too. When some talk about lincoln being stand alone, be better than in house with Ford. There meat and potatoes are Ford SUV and Ford Trucks. Lincolns are proablly just in the way
  15. The shelter in place has not been a big deal. Dont go that much. Only inconvenience not going to the grocery since not sure if safe, order online. So surf the net, seeing if can find a aviator like, if lincoln does not start production for awhile my order may not get picked up and have to find one already built
  16. Dealers suppose to order one before all this virus mess, not too much infor from my email to them if lincoln is accepting orders now or not. If not wondering if need to do a lincoln site locate adding-- Cadillac has been in touch. Lincoln no, Like the feature of the aviator better but in these times like Cadillac customer service better
