  1. I have a 2021 F250 with 7.3L & 3:55 gearing. I tow a 7,500# TT and couldn't be happier with the setup. You'll gets lots of responses that "you should get the 4:30 gears". With the 10 speed trans, the 4:30 isn't needed unless you're towing the max or at least over 12,000#. The 20" wheels are a rougher ride than the 18" due to the 18" tires having larger sidewalls giving a softer ride.
  2. Tint them so old folks can slam you in the back.
  3. Because the 460 was a dog compared to the 7.3. Everything about the 7.3 is designed to be stronger and more reliable than the 460 and the 7.3 has way more HP and torque. Didn't like my 460, love my 7.3.
  4. Something sitting on the passenger seat without the seatbelt being fastened? Laptop, briefcase, etc.?
  5. I have a Pedal Monster on my 2021 F250 7.3L. Made a huge improvement on throttle response. No more lag at all.
  6. I guess I'm old. I don't even know what a Dreadnought is. I know what a Dreadlock is, but I wouldn't want those on my truck either.
  7. Nope. Don't like it. JMHO. I Think 7.3L is OK, just not with a name after it.
  8. I didn't add any other seal around the tailgate. I'm amazed at how clean the bed stays and I've driven over some very silty roads here in the AZ desert as the photo above shows. The adobe was about 8 miles down a dirt road. The back of the tailgate was terrible but the inside was still very clean.
  9. Mine (above Antimatter blue) is the ARE "Z" model. You can't see the side sliding windows in the picture but they're there. The bed rug is great! I have both the bottom and sides and the Topper also has the "gray carpet" option so they are a great match. The Bed Rug is very easy on the kneecaps and keeps most all the dust out due to it covering the gap between the tailgate and the bed. Mine looks just like GCD's picture above. PS. ARE did a great job of matching the Antimatter Blue.
  10. 2021 Antimatter Blue F250 with ARE Shell, Complete Bed Rug Installed.
  11. I think I'll be lucky to get 20,000 miles on the Wranglers on my F250.
  12. IMHO you're not missing out on anything. I have it turned off on my XLT as I figure all that shaking of the steering wheel can only wear out steering components quicker on an already "death wobble" susceptible vehicle.
  13. I just went with a reducing adapter to fit my 2" WDH. Once you put some tension on the bars, the hitch doesn't move around or rattle at all. Worked great on my 1500 mile trip this past Labor Day. Cost was about $18.00.
  14. I have “lane departure warning” rather than lane keep assist on my 2021 XLT. My Honda Pilot has both. The Lane Keep assist actually keeps the Pilot between the lines by automatically turning the steering wheel to keep the car centered. The Lane departure warning on both the Pilot and my XLT makes the steering wheel shimmy if you start to cross a line without using your turn signal thus letting you know that you're leaving your lane. I'm not to crazy about the lane departure assist but I sure wish my HD had the lane keeping feature. My Pilot just steers itself on the highway.
  15. But with Diesel you also get DPF, DEF, Double fuel filters, DEF tanks, DEF pumps, and Regens, not to mention all the extra stuff under the hood. ?
  16. Its larger because the 4x4 sits higher than the 4x2. Ford is trying to keep air from going under the truck by pushing some of it around to the sides to help increase gas mileage. The problem is that just about any place that requires 4 wheel drive makes the deflector drag. like deep snow, top of rocks, bushes, etc.
  17. My 2021 F250 7.3L gas has a 2.5" class 5 factory hitch rated at 18,200 with a max tongue 1,820. The truck is only rated to tow 14,700#.
