  1. After all the consumer level trackers went to shipped 7/10-12, no further updates until palsapp suddenly showed up one day dispatched from Atlanta, so guess it went by rail before that. And then palsapp updated to delivered.... And I called my dealer!!! None of the other trackers Ive watched ever had it delivered even days later... And now they all show invalid or NA
  2. My truck has arrived!! March 19 order, April 26 built, July 30 delivery. Thank you very much for you previous help!!!
  3. Nice! I tried to but still haven't given up on my Lariat build truck just yet.. but thought about canceling and reordering the tremor.... If it was available with the power boost and/or 6.5 bed I would have but those were two things I'd like to have.
  4. Super easy install on our older farm truck and keep the wheel wells cleaner. Much easier to wash off without the nooks and crannies so I ordered it on the new build... Haven't thought about noise difference from rocks but that's a good point. I'm sure it may cut that down some too. Basically it just looks a lot cleaner and is easier to keep clean. A lot less mud weight to carry around as well. I don't know whether factory installed or aftermarket are better, doesn't seem like the kind of piece that could be too much of a difference either way. But for that little amount of money worth its either way.
  5. Bumped for an update, please. Managed to wait near a month. Any change at all? ?? Thank you!!! 1ftfw1ed0mfb67360 0322
  6. That's terrible cool rod. You have my sympathies and deepest respect because I sure couldn't have waited that long. I'm weighing my options between reorder and wait on 22 order banks to open up..
  7. I'm still sitting on 10/31 ETA. However a handful of my build week on the other forum appear to be moving over the last couple days...?? On a dealer's lot they get test driven and cranked occasionally maybe washed...
  8. Been trying to hold off doing it... but I will much appreciate your information whatever you can give., We all thank you!? 1FTFW1ED0MFB67360 0322
  9. Charcoal? Grey 2011 Fx4 3.5 ... ~188k I wonder if I'll be better off private selling somewhere given current this market than trading in at March appraisal quote..?
  10. Man you almost gave me a heart attack ?... I had set it to notify me of replies and when you responded I got an email with subject Line: Private Cash Offer... I was pretty darn excited for a few seconds?
  11. I'd like to add that my truck has only been "built" a month ago and remains In-Production status. It's not a concern for me yet... Obviously , I'm just relating a lot of folks on the forums horror stories and hope my truck doesn't sit near that long!
  12. Don't know if it's been discussed here, obviously no one wants their 99% built truck sitting on a lot in Michigan with the thousands of others for months on end but was just curious besides getting a truck months further depreciated, freak hail storm, potential vandalism and growing rust (thankful mine was built after winter), what if any concerns are there with accepting a built truck after sitting idle such a long time without being run etc?. For instance / particularly the Powerboost hybrid battery draining over time and then potentially sitting dead for months on end? I don't know if it's as bad for that type of battery as for others. Just curious what if any other concerns are.
  13. Seems optimistic, but I sure hope this gets resolved soon... I sure do feel for the workers and dealers etc which have to be getting hit pretty hard.... And yeah... I'd kinda like my truck before 22's hit the lots. Lol
  14. Been trying to do everything I have heard to try and all I keep getting is an email or postcard in mail with "special offers" that are the usual monthly specials or a special 8yr APR rate... ?
  15. This is perhaps the best of all wish list items.... What do I want?... My Truck!!!.... Or at least some better more detailed tracking and transparency with the customer and especially with the dealerships. I do understand the current chip shortage situation. But I/we all would definitely be a lot happier if they would just be more forthcoming with information, especially about customer ordered trucks. The dealers don't really seem to have any additional information, and the best way find out anything is on all these forums and by asking some of the members with access for additional information from time to time (which I haven't gotten up the nerve to do again since early April when I found out my build date)...
  16. Do you mean a forward facing camera to record traffic / while driving? My 2011 has the rear view camera on the left side of the rearview mirror when it's in reverse which I actually like better than in the center display
  17. But that swing out wheel well toolbox under a retractable does look like a great option as well! Hadn't thought of that.!
  18. Yea... That's what I need! I want an integrated toolbox and retractable tonneau. Local truck accessories place suggests mounting a custom retractable behind the toolbox but then you're eating up bed space. But man that American work cover is $$$$$

Agreed, they don't really bother me but it would be better integrated. I do intend to replace factory radio antenna with a shorty. Hope it still gets decent reception as I am one of those who still listens to the am/fm
  20. ~190k now on my 2011 ecoboost 3.5 fx4. No significant engine related issues that I can recall. Hope I'm in a 21 Poweboost here sooner than later.
  21. Such a nice and simple feature to add and widely available on so many lesser vehicles now days. As much as a high package xlt and especially 502 lariat costs there's no reason not to have this as atleast an option on them, If not just standard for that matter. Not just on King Ranch and up ...
  22. Agreed ?... The rear window is tiny. I didn't know Toyota had a full roll down rear glass but that would be pretty cool. I can't believe FORD doesn't have this as an option.
  23. That looks like an extremely quick / easy install. Probably should have just gotten the aftermarket ones. I hope these aren't holding my truck build up. The only other option I got thats been said to cause delay was the work surface. But at this point I guess it's probably chips
