  1. Good question, we’ve had a Bronco Sport Badlands on order since November…hearing the latest constraint is the trailer tow package of all things.
  2. Only ever had the door latch problem on our '13...(fixed it myself with a Dorman part for about $100) other than that they've been bullet proof....no issues with our '19 whatsoever...now awaiting the '21 which should be built any day now.
  3. Ugh…not impressed, my 19 has all of the above…feel like I’m taking a step backwards as far as “ refinement” goes… Sure, gain the “big screen” but at the expense of cabin noise?
  4. Can anyone advise on the reason for elimination of the laminated side glass, windshield glass on the 21 Edge? Also disappointing to see the foot activated tailgate gone. Are these purely cost saving measures are were there issues?
  5. Hahaha agreed...I should of indicated "going out of your way" to use Cruise Control....mind you this was before the advent of adaptive cruise control....
  6. For fuel economy purposes, I have always found (with any EcoBoost engine) using Cruise Control really helps MPG.
  7. Understood... I have a GT 350...the engine sounds normal to me as it has since day one. However if you wanted to make an argument that it sounds like a "typewriter" you very well could...to my ear its the fuel injectors responsible for the noise.
  8. Ford's TSB write up...not mine...
  9. TSB as an FYI 2/5/2019 7718 - 2011-2019 Mustang/F-150 - 5.0L Tick Tap And/or Typewriter Noise At Idle Some 2011-2019 Mustang and F-150 vehicles equipped with a 5.0L engine may exhibit a ticking noise at idle after an engine oil change. It is often referred to as typewriter noise because of its similarity to the sound of a mechanical typewriter. The noise in question may be heard on some engines when engine temperatures reach 150°F (65°C) or higher and engine speed is at idle up to approximately 1700 RPM's. It can typically be heard at the front wheel well, and is often isolated to the transmission bell housing or oil pan area. typewriter noise is not detrimental to engine function or durability and has no short or long term effects on the engine. This an operating characteristic of the 5.0L engine and no repairs should be attempted.
  10. Go for the HEP...nice way to finish an awesome run or awesome cars!
  11. Amen...for someone to take the time to actually give some insight on production is priceless...you won't get that from most dealers!
