  1. Finally got mine today after 8 months! Such a badass truck!
  2. I took delivery of the truck this afternoon! Thank you for the amazing service that you provide to the members here! It made the 8 month wait much more tolerable.
  3. Tracked the railcar to the end of the line... interested to see if there are any further updates. VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you!
  4. Another update please. Hopefully the truck is on the move! VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you!
  5. Another week, another update please! VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you!
  6. Another update please! The truck appears to be "stuck" in production. VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you!
  7. Another update, if you'd please: VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you!
  8. I've used Amsoil HDMP on my last two trucks. It sprays on as a liquid and dries as a waxy substance that won't wash off. Works amazingly well for preventing rust. The caveat is that it's very messy and smelly to apply. I'll be doing my new truck as soon as it comes in.
  9. Here are a few: https://tfltruck.com/2022/02/2023-ford-super-duty-spied-video/ https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/spied-2023-ford-f-350-super-duty https://fordauthority.com/2022/01/2023-ford-super-duty-xl-interior-spied-up-close-for-the-first-time/
  10. Hello, I would like to find out the current status of my truck please. VIN 1FT8W3BT6NED68333 Thank you for your time!
  11. I'm right there with you, I've had a pile of parts in the garage since shortly after I ordered. Feeling much better now having a VIN that the truck will actually exist someday and I'll be able to install it all.. Adarac ladder rack Truxedo X15 tonneau Tailgate damper Tremor valence Star white mirror caps 37x12.5 General AT/X on 17" wheels Also have a slide-in camper on order that I wouldn't be able to haul with my current 1/2 ton, so add that huge, extremely expensive accessory to the list as well ?
  12. The spray in bedliner can't be removed separately from the Black Appearance package. Removing the tonneau cover will increase your chances of being scheduled, as some dealers have shown that there is zero availability for those right now.
  13. I think the fender badges are only black on the Lariat Black Appearance package, if I remember correctly, in the description on the Ford site it says "(Lariat only)"
  14. Awesome looking truck. I'm not generally a fan of Atlas blue but it works so well on this truck. Congrats!
  15. I have a soft tri-fold cover on my current truck which was only about $300, so good value for money but not much else good about it. The new truck is getting a Truxedo X15 because it's compatible with the ladder racks I'm going to install and it's very easy to remove completely when needed. They're all about compromise, so pick the one that has the attributes that are important to you.
  16. Cash for me as well. I paid cash for my current truck so I have that to put toward it. With these crazy values lately it's currently worth more than I paid for it, so that will help reduce the cost to upgrade. I've had many auto loans over the years through my credit union but I'm not eager to take out another one.
  17. The info that's been circulating recently seems to indicate you have little or no chance of being scheduled with the 5th wheel prep as of right now. Removing that should increase your odds. Spray in bed liner has also consistently been a limitation as well as the rear axle. Follow this thread for the latest on the commodity issues:
  18. I never got any confirmation from Ford when I changed my order either, just the updated DORA from the dealer.
  19. My vote is for Rapid Red because it's undoubtedly the less common of the two. I went with Star White with Black Appearance because I love the contrast of the black accents against the white. If Velocity Blue was still available I would have gone with that though because i like bright colors. None of the current colors are very exciting IMHO.
  20. I'd rather have one of the later builds of an outgoing model than one of the first of a new model, especially if there are any significant changes being made (but I don't think that's know as of now). Let them work out the bugs during the 2023 model year. At least that's what I'm telling myself since I have a 2022 on order...hah
  21. Maybe they'll reveal the new one while the 2022s are still being built, then at least you'd have a chance of choosing. From the camouflaged spy photos I've seen most of the body looks the same. Maybe it's just a mild refresh of the front end. I agree though the 2020+ is a great looking truck.
  22. My truck got scheduled yesterday with the black appearance package. It seems like they might be reserving whatever bed liner they have for the packages and not doing many, if any, of the standalone option. But that's all just conjecture, nobody knows for sure.
  23. Maybe I'm the odd man out here but I actually like how these trucks look, especially the higher trims. It feels really fresh compared to the now ancient second gen (of which I've owned 3). I would have considered one in a year or so to replace my 2020 once they work the bugs out. But I'm moving to a Super Duty since a half ton just doesn't suit my needs anymore. Especially one with a dismally low payload.
  24. This, exactly. The whole reveal seemed like they were trying to prank us, or some kind of bad joke. And yet, how many deposits have been put down on this thing?
  25. I agree with you on the factory bed liner. I've had it in my last two Tundras. The quality is great, and you get a debossed logo at the front of the bed (not sure if Ford does the same). The tonneau cover is an easy aftermarket addition, IMHO
