  1. Definitely not Jaguar as we’ve ever known it
  2. I always wondered why the front bench seat hadn’t been implemented in vehicles such as the Expedition. Or even the new Bronco.
  3. What I worry about is the Nautilus being made in China turning buyers, who care about that, away from the brand as a whole. If they move production here, advertising Lincoln as “American-made” luxury may or may not do wonders for its brand image. Though that’s just my theory.
  4. I think, going forward, every Ford and Lincoln will try to be exciting in some shame or form. Even the boring models.
  5. I’m very interested in the automotive side of things as well. What does this mean for manufacturing? Nautilus comes to mind..
  6. Thanks. Those are very good points, something I’ve always wondered about. Pretty much the odds are next to none for an adult-friendly third row with three seats in this segment. That’s fair though. I’m sure Lincoln is confident in their prices and the cheaper Expedition is available for those who need that space.
  7. I wonder if the higher priced based Navigator will leave room for the Aviator to grow slightly in size, becoming a 7 or 8 seater like the Toyota Grand Highlander Max, which also has more cargo area. I’m sure that would satisfy potential buyers who don’t want to spend over $100k for a Navigator but want a Lincoln with more room than the current generation Aviator.
  8. Speaking of website formats, anyone else having trouble with Carscoops comments? I can't see or add to them. That's a good site too.. it has (or used to have) really good discourse.
  9. It won’t happen, but a Lincoln version of the Bronco would be killer. Blend the rugged aesthetic with luxury, a polished interior with maximum sound deadening. Offer a moonroof. (Lincoln would definitely have a fixed top and doors). Add adaptive air suspension. Tuned turbocharged V6 standard, and a hybrid option. Price it competitively. They could create a new market, like they did with the Navigator in the 90s. And I think it would sell. Especially to young professionals. A more accessible G-Wagon. They could call it the Mountaineer
  10. The interior is definitely my favorite part of the refresh. Nice use of materials and overall a very clean design that looks upscale. Hope it becomes a trend for Ford
  11. I really like that. A more utilitarian Escape with maximum room that isn’t too close to Bronco Sport styling. If that were an issue, I’m sure they could square out the Bronco Sport even more next go around I also like DeluxeStang’s idea. A sportier and swoopier Escape that will draw attention to the segment and bring something fun to the nameplate
  12. https://fordauthority.com/2024/08/ford-explorer-lincoln-aviator-hybrids-will-replace-evs/ "The automaker also revealed that it was shifting those resources to “develop a new family of electrified three-row SUVs which will include hybrid technologies that can offer breakthrough efficiency, performance benefits, and emissions reductions versus pure gas vehicles and extend the range of the vehicle on road trips relative to pure electric vehicles.” Seems they are developing hybrids to replace the cancelled 3-Row EVs already. I wonder if they will stick to CD6 or switch to C2
  13. With that shape, I think the third row would have felt very uncomfortable..
  14. Now that we have an updated Navigator, I’m gonna predict that the next move for Lincoln is Corsair getting a heavy refresh within the next year or two, followed by a heavier Aviator update (which I think will stay on CD6 with the Explorer). This will complete their lineup with the large screens and updated exterior/interior styling. But for now, I think Lincoln will focus on a promotion run for the Navigator and Nautilus, possibly introducing a hybrid sooner or later like many here are hoping.
  15. I did an edit with a little more separation between the main grille and lower grille. It's not a notable difference but it does look a bit better I think.
  16. Hey, maybe for the mid-cycle refresh in 4 years. 😆
  17. This must be the Reserve without the Jet Package since it doesn’t have black accents. I like it too. Overall, I’m impressed!
  18. Do we know if the reveal will be tonight at midnight, or sometime during the day?
  19. It looks like they’re dropping the chrome trim on the lower side of the doors and rear. I think that will help differentiate it from the current model, it will also look more modern
  20. Is it me or does the center screen looks integrated into the dash versus sticking out like on like the Nautilus? Awesome if that’s the case!
  21. Full-width taillights and the brand name spelled out across the back? Never seen that before!
  22. I was thinking of this too. That would be a great time and place
  23. I noticed all of these details too. I think it will be a bigger refresh than some of us think. You’re definitely not the only one tired of waiting haha.
