Very impressive crash test showing on the new Chinese sedan, the Brilliance BS6, which is the first sedan to go on sale in Europe. Click the link...I think you will agree that this car is right up with the new Taurus in terms of safety. :happy feet: :happy feet: :happy feet: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

Sorry about that...oh well it probably doesn't hurt people to see it again...especially the ones that keep saying...watch out for the Chinese in a year or two.

On that note then, how about sampling these awesome designs:

Jiangling Landwind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZWy_fASSiQ

Shuanghuan Sceo:

And last but not least....

Chery Amulet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Swzbt76wBM HOLY SHIT!!! :ohsnap:

Very enlightening. The Chinese cannot even make a safe, high-quality dog food or toothpaste. I doubt we have much to be concerned about with their vehicles.

It's gonna take more than an "Amulet" to protect the unlucky victim in that car, but then again...sometimes you gotta wonder, "They are asking for it" so how can you sympathize...

It'll take the Chinese over a decade or 2 to shed the stigma associated with their products, and of course you'll always find a sucker that will buy into it, probably subprime credit customers will be their first victims.

Who knows, maybe they'll work a deal with Walmart, so you can purchase them at your local Walmart :)

Maybe they should call it the "Casket" instead of the "Amulet"

You would be much better off buying a used Taurus then a new Amulet if you wanted to be safe.

Here is another video of the Brilliance and it does appear to be a brilliant car! Too bad I can't understand a word they are saying because I would have loved to hear what the importer had to say about the car. Maybe someone here will understand it.

Wow!! I understand French. This car was going 64 Km/hr or 40 MPH . They are saying they never saw a car's chassis bend from such a low impact.

What a disaster! :hysterical::rockon: :cheerleader:

Where's the liberal scum in the news media and everywhere else? You'd think they'd be the first ones to shout about the "safety of the children".

Anybody that dares to buy a Chinese made car deserves their fate. :rip: :titanic:

I'll stick to my 30 year old Ford products thank you!

kind of like the low speed bumper tests a few months back where an 81 Escort did the best in the 5mph damage tap compared to the 07 models?

We all know (or should) that that has nothing to do with crash safety. New cars are MUCH safer than anything that came before them.
