SEMA F-Series Trucks

There is a company in texas I believe that makes these in FWD. There is no "drive" to the rear wheels.

(re-checked the leads link and the site is on there)

And people say the F150 has a deep bed.......

It is a cool concept. The dallassmith site shows an ADA compliant wheelchair bus, low load box trucks and even large F-650 size low body trucks. I don't know how long they have been in business or how many they have built. The six door is really neat.

The truck can easily be that low without being fwd, and in fact that are plenty that are that low. The problem is that you have to cut the bed up.

Well that was their particular solution. There must be a reason they used it, maybe the one you said

they did that so they can have the bed flat in the back without losing height.

Would have been cooler if they slammed it and raisded the height of the sides of the bed and still put in a flat floor.
