objectsinmirror
I belieive Ford will proclaim profitabilty by late June of this year. Buyouts of course are coming...I believe they will be targeted this time 'round. Most all ACH and other transfers will be completed mid May. Mullaly announces DEC. 2008 that he will be leaving the company and Edsel II takes the helm. Mullaly finally lives his life long dream of flying in orbit around Earth. Union talk of strike in late August on grounds of poor working conditions/unfair outsourcing. Union caves...strike diverted. O.K. there's a start...what do YOU predict!! Trimdingman
I predict increased turmoil in the world over the situation in Pakistan, a major terrorist attack attempted against the US, high inflation, stabilizing of the housing market, flat auto sales, starting to improve in the second half, and Guiliani elected president. theoldwizard
I believe Ford will proclaim profitability by late June of this year. Maybe for 1 or 2 quarters, but not for the whole year ! Mullaly announces DEC. 2008 that he will be leaving the company ... Too early to through in the towel. Remember he has an ego also ! ...and Edsel II takes the helm. Why would he un-retire himself to take a job that he never wanted ? Let him screw up the Lions !

He hasn't had anything to do with operations since Bill was picked as the crowned prince.

westmont
Lions dig up bobby lane and win a superbowl in 08. Ford will continue to lose money. Assets like Volvo will be sold off to maintain cash flow. and with in a few years a korean company will buy Ford starting with a (H) and will kill all Ford cars and merge the truckline with their already booming car segment. :stats: Hard to believe but all of you will see. Ford was a great car company ran into the ground by poor management and excessive union contracts.

What a joke. the uaw did what it did to lengthen its survival, kind of like a parasite backing off on attacking it's host. Remember, this needing thing only goes in one direction. dwad say what? Why would he un-retire himself to take a job that he never wanted ? Let him screw up the Lions ! Well, I should have said "proclaim sustainability" but I think Ford will show strong global profits and possibly become more sustainable in the U.S. after Chrysler falls and leaves a big Detroit hole to fill. As for Mulally I don't think he'll quit before he "wins" but I see them patting themselves on the back like crazy when it does happen (profitability). Because I think Mulally is only at Ford for the turaround, much like Lopez was there for G.M. in the 80's- early 90's. then POOF off to volkswagon he went. Insider trading shows Edsel to be the highest active trader. I'm not sure what that would mean, but Edsel was just a wild guess (joke). anyway this is fun. Chelsea I love your post LOLOL... wakeup
Old man Ford Sr. gives Matt Millen another raise! This time for improving the Detroit pussies team's record... please dont refer to Mr. Ford as "old man ford" This shows no respect for the family. WCF has spent big money trying to get a winner. I agee he got a weaner, but let show the family some respect. After all, we would all be speaking German or Japanese without them. The Lions are improving...Matt needs one more year till the Ford family brings the broom out. Edited January 9, 2008 by wakeup

The number of football players and staff members just showing up to collect their paychecks?
