silvrsvt
Pretty interesting that our Focus still shares 20% of parts with the C1 Focus :P
Blueblood
A shame they have abandoned the 3 door hatch market, even though the girls here will say it doesn't matter, Ford needs every sale it can get..
NickF1011
A shame they have abandoned the 3 door hatch market, even though the girls here will say it doesn't matter, Ford needs every sale it can get.. Abandoned...for now. It's certainly not something that has been walked away from permanently if they see potential for more sales out of it. However, it is surely the lowest volume segment amongst compacts and subcompacts. At least they are bringing us a global B- and C-car at all. Fix the big problems before fixing the little ones. mlhm5
From the article: "...Ford is struggling to make a three-figure profit on small cars such as the Ford Focus, one of the company's best-sellers...' That cannot be correct, can it?
P71_CrownVic
From the article:"...Ford is struggling to make a three-figure profit on small cars such as the Ford Focus, one of the company's best-sellers...' That cannot be correct, can it? I have heard that Ford barely makes $100 profit on the rehashed Focus.
atomaro
From the article:"...Ford is struggling to make a three-figure profit on small cars such as the Ford Focus, one of the company's best-sellers...' That cannot be correct, can it? I would be surprised if any automaker with a full product portfolio (ie Toyota, Nissan, GM, Ford, Chrysler) makes a nice profit margin on their small cars.
