RichardJensen
Sorry to keep this off-topic going, but I just discovered it. Well, as someone who almost reluctantly admits to being slightly past 'growing up' when these things started getting popular (i.e. early/mid '70s) - and as was pointed out earlier - sunroofs (back then) were metal, moonroofs were glass. And also as pointed out before, Lincoln was the first with a Moonroof (capitalized, as that's the name that Lincoln gave the option) back in the early '70s. They also pointed it out in their ads and commercials by showing the moon through it (likely composited images). I'm don't remember, for sure, but I don't think those early Moonroofs opened. http://www.californiaclassix.com/archive/63_VW_c205.html Hmm. I may have to speak to the person who informed me that the old fabric tops such as the above link were 'moonroofs', as apparently, I have been misinformed. Justdatdude
Did anyone notice that the MKT starts at over a 1,000 more than an Audi Q7. That's the way to assert lincoln's luxury status.

Audi Q7 seats 5 Lincoln MKT seats 7 MKT also seems to be very well equipped vs. the Q7.

I'm glad ford is now taking pride in lincoln enough to price it right against the competition not for a bargain like the were doing.
