Mark B. Morrow
Personally if the world were coming to an end I'd go with a Mustang. It is the choice of post apocalyptic survivors, Omega Man, I Am Legend and War of the Worlds. The Panther may be the automotive equivalent of the cockroach. When archeologists dig up American cities 1,000 years from now the Panthers will still be there ready to run, along with an impressive selection of Hostess Twinkies. NickF1011
This is the same directorial genius who brought us such film gems as "Independence Day", "The Day After Tomorrow", "10,000 B.C.", and "Godzilla". I think I'll pass on this one.
grbeck
The Charlton Heston character in "Omega Man" drove a Corvette Wasn't there a scene in one of his movies where he enters an abandoned Ford dealership and looks at the cars, while imagining himself bantering with a salesperson? matthewq4b
Wasn't there a scene in one of his movies where he enters an abandoned Ford dealership and looks at the cars, while imagining himself bantering with a salesperson? In the opening scene he was driving a 1970 Red LTD ragtop after getting a flat he then goes in to a used car dealer and gets the Blue 1970 rag top stang. Remeber this movie was supposed to be in the future (1975) When realeased in 1971. Matthew

mustang84isu
The concept behind the movie was really interesting, but the execution looks beyond retarded. This is going to wind up being "The Happening" of 2009.
