nvsked
Well the election is over and the population of our great country has spoken. It's my wish that congress will hunker down and work to address the issues that our nation faces, not as republicans, or democrats, not as independents but as citizens of the United States....One country under god... if that statement offends anybody please feel freee to subsitute any refrence to a superior being that suits you....The point is one nation! And, the issues we face, e.g. unemployment, defecit spending, trade pacts, illegal aliens etc affect all of us......NO one is immune because of political affiliation. So it's my hope people stay involved and drive the change that is needed, we need to take back the country from the special interest, and address the real issues that our country faces. Not all the crap that was spewed in the political adds BUT THE REAL ISSUES...
scargil
Very good post sir..I read online today a UAW member calling Rick Snyder the "ENEMY"..I dont get that. All of these democrats who complained that the republicans wont give Obama a fair shake or opportunity seem to be ready to do the SAME to Snyder..hypocrites?..Its time to put partisan politics aside and be Americans first. This is a historic time in this country with a semi-depression and two wars going on. Time to band together Your post is the most ignorant post I've ever read on blue oval and boy let me tell you there have been some really stupid ones! Wake up dummy! You are in a class war and if you're voting republican then you are voting against the labor movement. MichiganTruck_Mafia
This country is divided and the vote did nothing to change that. This Repub/Dem flip-flop game is going to keep going on until one party actually fixes the mess that this country is in. All we can hope is Snyder & Co. do what they promised for the people, and not big business/special interests .... but I'm not optimistic that they will. I hope they prove me wrong.

lep_wrencher
The one thing people don't tend to realize, whether thefat cats in D.C. are Dem or GOP, they both equally worthless!!!!! At least since the GOP now controls the House, neither party can really do any major damage.

Neither side will correct trade imbalances or Unfair trade. Dems talk and Pubs think we need more just like them. Ditto on the immigration issues. Dems dont want to to do anything about illegals and Pubs want them even more.(Except in certain border states of course). The pain is coming because there are no real jobs being generated and thats how its going to be. Just untax everyone and we'll live like kings.(Give me a break!!). We are now going to face months and months of heathcare reform logjam as Pubs vow to change this or that AND Obama threatens vetoes. But hey we sure wont be short on rhetoric. Even GM isnt immune. Talking about $12-13 billion in profits when autos return to 17 million cars/yr. Yeah they're trying to sell an IPO but the industry wont see 17 mi. in 10 yrs , maybe never. Anyway. Good post just dont hold yer breath.

This is just another example of how our School system has failed. Fixed, good fight making yourself look like an idiot. I guess our school system also failed you. Typical left-wing strategy. If you can't win by debate or logic, you go after the character of the individual to discredit him. The problem with Republicans is that they are too much like Democrats. The problem with Democrats is that they are Democrats. What we need is a party that is not like the Democrats. We need to drastically reduce the size and scope of the federal government to attract investment instead of driving it away with high taxes and onerous regulations. My first sentence is not a real sentence. It doesn't have a verb. I am an uneducated boob. Nothing I say can be true. Don't read it. That is how the left keep their sheep from straying. Trimdingman
Who's we trim, your Canadian don't worry about it. Canadians need to worry more. We are steerage class on the Titanic. I have American roots going back to the Mayflower. I also have Aboriginal roots, which makes me a citizen of North America, without international borders. What is needed is not so much co-operation between the Democrats and Republicans, but for government to eliminate much of itself, and reduce taxes and regulations to attract business and encourage enterprize. That is what built America. All empires that did otherwise collapsed. We are collapsing now, along with the rest of the socialist Western World. Aside from Rand Paul none of the Republicans want to cut anything....just mouth generalities and keep on going.
