Ford Jellymoulds
We are told we will all be driving electric cars soon, sometime in the near future. China owns & have brought up nearly all the worlds rare earth materials, and have said if you want anything that uses rare earth materials then you can have them providing you let us build make the product for you in China. l can see the USA becoming another automotive type of Cuba keeping what they have got with next to no cars made in the USA you can see it coming, when China takes over and becomes the only new rare earth material suppling country in the world, No1 Electric car maker equivalent of oil rich Saudi Arabia/Electric Car Detroit (USA needs to go hydrogen to fook China or become a mass importer of cheap Chinese made electric cars in the future). MMmmm Me buy a Chinese made boring dull Ford Electric car built with cheap chinese labour costs NEVER!!!, l shall continue to keep my two ole Classic Fords going until l drop dead l have given up of waiting to see anything with a nice shape/RWD ever coming out of shitty FOE ever again.. 97svtgoin05gt
Everyone needs to just boycott this move completely. Just think about all the Chinese crap you buy now for your house etc that lasts 1/5th as long as it should. Keep that in mind when you purchase your Chinese car. kenp77
This is not too far fetched, look at the american made content of the f-150 and the mustang with a chinese tranny, it is a very sad day when u can buy a toyota truck with more american content than the icon of pick ups the f-

The reason its built in China is its being used in a product that sells huge in China and its cheaper to import them into the States...its just built there..not engineered there. What will your rationalization be once they (including the WHOLE vehicle) are being engineered over there as well? See: http://docs.google.c...lQhTbqt446eW5hw Will the "...well at least the PROFITS stay over here!" mantra be trotted out? Methinks the title of the article isn't all that far-fetched, unfortunate as it is...... -Ovaltine Edited December 17, 2010 by Ovaltine

lfeg
I say put them on the marketplace and see what they do. There is always a fringe market that is not served by the mainstream automakers.
