Hydro
I love it. toyota is too scared to do their old "customer satisfaction" bulletins to avoid recalls. Now they have to issue recalls because all eyes are on them. It's amazing how so many people on yahoo and other types of non car related forums still defend them to death and say GM & Ford suck (more so GM, they say Ford is way better but they still wouldnt buy one).
V8-X
The saga continues... I love these recalls, get to continue to stick it to those naysayers that still believe Yota is leaps/bounds ahead of all the domestics. I agree, Dodge/Chrysler and GM still have some improvement to do, but it seems as though Ford has surpassed Yota. Hopefully the rags will continue to pick up and write about this. Maybe someday we'll get those brainwashed loyalists to see the light. Well, wishful thinking anyways.
jpd80
In a way it's sad to see that a once mighty and impenetrable Toyota now seems plagued weekly or at least monthly by another drama. How far can Toyota possibly fall in buyers eyes... Edited January 26, 2011 by jpd80
JLaudioF150
Wife took the Lexus RX330 in yesterday for an oil change and was told it was being recalled for some power steering issue (potential leak of some sort). Now this! They gave her a brand-new, loaner ES350 which she said was nice because of the new-car smell but that it didn’t feel substantial and didn’t feel necessarily newer than her 2004 RX. The very next thing she said was how nice the new Escape was. And there you have it, the perception of Toyota now among Toyota owners.
