Edstock
Metropolis revealed in Europe for first time at Geneva show, and production version will top DS range as part of joint venture with Chinese maker. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/motorshows/geneva-motor-show/264910/big_citroen_guns_for_audi.html
atomcat68
I was cringing at the thought of opening this thread and having by retinas scarred by some goofy French blob...but WOW! I love that car! It does remind me of a squashed Taurus.

Edstock
That's why I posted it. IMHO, it's the best looking Citroen to come along since the original DS-19/DS-21. It sure looks different from the top-line BMW, M-B and Audis — without looking weird. I think a Lincoln should have that size wheelbase. ANTAUS
We are seeing a trend of longer hoods because of pedestrian impact standards phased in Europe. High belt line for perceived safety created by that cocoonlike affect. Low greenhouse for that sinister look. And long wheelbases to make it all happen. Current Mondeo already has a longish type hood, I'm interested in seeing how they'll morph that into our Fusion here.
timmm55
Before I opened the link I thought of the gorgeous 1972 Citroen SM! This is an entirely different (ummmm BIG!) yet beautiful car.
92merc
That is a gorgeous car. About the only thing I don't like is the grille. Looks like it has a clitoris at the top. I guess if it does look like a Taurus, that would be the Klee Taurus then...
Ron W.
Nice looking, my opinion. A little Audi combined with Jag in the front, Volvo int the rear and Mopars 300 in the middle.
