Hellcat_F6F
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060911/bs_nm/..._summit_ford_dc I have 2 they can start with: Friendly Ford in Monroe, Michigan, and Whitman Ford in Temperance, Michigan. Both of these dealers have really outdone themselves to drive customers, even EMPLOYEE customers, away from Ford products! They are examples of what is WRONG with Ford's dealer network. I know of planty crappy Ford dealers myself, - but Ford will not be actively searching them out and whutting them down. Igor

mkoesel
Wow, had not heard these things from my hometown dealership. Never purchased a Ford in Monroe, but had heard "decent" things. The new spread certainly looks impressive, I guess they are making money despite the poor service and customer relations.
markfnc
Anyone have a list of the top 10 dealerships in sales, and the bottom 10?
danglin
Add: Terre Haute Ford... I agree totally, I have not heard anything good about this place. They have a nice looking building and a lot full of vehicles. Too bad Sales and Service Suck!!!
630land
If I were the new CEO, I'd weed out the bad dealers, and close 'em for good. Base it on CSI #'s and also send some "spy buyers" or service work to seee how bad/good they are. Crappy dealers got to go!
tnoah
I agree. I purchased my first new vehicle from Friendly. The sales staff was incompetent and arrogant, and the service department messed up the simplest repairs. Most of the time I took it to the Lincoln/Mercury dealership. Whitman. I moved to Temperance in 2000. I went looking for a new truck. Title in hand, because I wanted to take it home that night, I wandered the lot and showroom for almost an hour. I found the truck I wanted, but never could find anybody to help me, so I left. Went to Brondes in Toledo, where not even an hour later, I was driving my new truck home. I love that dealer. The service staff know me, and I like how they treat me. I will never, EVER, go to Friendly or Whitman again. I'd rather walk. Always make sure you go to a "Quality Checked"--Blue Oval Certified Dealer. If they treat you bad you can report them.
Noah Harbinger
Always make sure you go to a "Quality Checked"--Blue Oval Certified Dealer. If they treat you bad you can report them. Does that actually mean anything? There are 14 dealerships in San Diego county, and besides the heavy-truck dealership, only two aren't "Quality Checked"...
