Michael Reynolds
Checked out the website and there are some pretty innovative features, some which will probably make their way to the F 150. That thing is a beast, it even makes the Peterbuilt (Infiniti) QX56 look tame.

SysEng
It blows them away. Ummm, at 650#T :cheerleader: , it will also blow away the current 5R tranny as well :fan: . Have they updated that as well? Please tell me its closer to 5R150 than 5R120 :slap:

igor
The 6.4l is perfectly matched to the new Cuminis, but the Duramax tops both by 5hp and 10t. however, the strength of the F450 chasis blows the competition away. Igor
KWMJ-KTP
Even with GM having a 10 Horsepower & Torque advantage, what good does it do if your biggest competitor can still out-tow you by nearly 9000 lbs. I guess that it just goes to show how much better the Super Duty is as a package in whole, rather than just an engine statistic to throw out at everyone. Now if I can only convince my wife to sell our 2004 F250(Great Truck and Well Built) when this new one is out!
JLaudioF150
Someone should tell the guys at Ford that there is a mistake on that site. When you click on the configurations, it lists the 6.0L as the engine available for the F250. When you then click for more detailed info, it has it listed as the 6.4L. I almost had a heart attack. When you consider all the gripes against the PSD/tranny in the past, GMC should really think about why the SD still outsells the DuraMax/Allison by 2-3X to 1 :o ! Thats quite a big lead. OTOH, we are talking about a company, (GMC ) that thinks aluminum belongs in a truck/SUV engine. Until such time as they replace those aluminum heads on the DuraMax and improve the "robustness" ( i.e. ability to tolerate abuse ) of their HPCR system, they might as well learn the following position when a PSD passes...
