Direct Injection usually gives a nice boost in torque numbers vs. Port Injection. Any rumors around Ford adding DI to the 3.7? That would go a long way in filling the performance gap between it and the 4.3.

The Magnetic Ride Control suspension is a GM patented design. I don't think they would allow Ford to use the technology. The GT500 does have adjustable suspension but not nearly as advanced as on the ZL1.

Wow, it is insane how well that car hooks up. Especially given such a small tire in relation to how much power the car probably makes.

New York has used E10 exclusively for a few years now, but we still have stickers on the pumps. AFAIK, E15 was already approved for use. There are definitely two sides to every arguement. I am an Obama supporter and I am NOT in favor of E15. My older (2001 and 2004) vehicles' fuel systems probably won't take too well to it.

I had a 1998 SVT Contour E1, was my favorite car. I still have the brochure that talks about all the technology that went into the engine like powdered metal rods, the dual stage intake, hotter cams, etc.

Nice to see the V10 still living on. Makes me wonder how much more power it would have if they upgraded to D.I. and some of the other more modern bits.

While extremely frustrating, it is possible that parts would not be available to ship on Wednesday. They may have had to wait until Friday to ship out...

It's probably just me, but steering wheel / gauges make a frog face, lol.
