Direct Injection usually gives a nice boost in torque numbers vs. Port Injection. Any rumors around Ford adding DI to the 3.7? That would go a long way in filling the performance gap between it and the 4.3.
Dtorres, you need to update your signature . It's great to see you happy with the car. I'll have to go and take a look as I will be shoping for a new ride in a few months.
Which scandal was that?
Check out the California Attorney General's report on the investigation of ACORN: http://ag.ca.gov/cms_attachments/press/pdfs/n1888_acorn_report.pdf
The Magnetic Ride Control suspension is a GM patented design. I don't think they would allow Ford to use the technology.
The GT500 does have adjustable suspension but not nearly as advanced as on the ZL1.
New York has used E10 exclusively for a few years now, but we still have stickers on the pumps.
AFAIK, E15 was already approved for use.
There are definitely two sides to every arguement. I am an Obama supporter and I am NOT in favor of E15. My older (2001 and 2004) vehicles' fuel systems probably won't take too well to it.
I had a 1998 SVT Contour E1, was my favorite car. I still have the brochure that talks about all the technology that went into the engine like powdered metal rods, the dual stage intake, hotter cams, etc.
You have to take that article with a grain of salt - it was written by the conservative think tank The Heartland Institute.
Wow, why was this thread resurrected in the first place???
Nice to see the V10 still living on. Makes me wonder how much more power it would have if they upgraded to D.I. and some of the other more modern bits.
While extremely frustrating, it is possible that parts would not be available to ship on Wednesday. They may have had to wait until Friday to ship out...
Doesn't the 2012 come with "Pull-Drift Compensation"? This should help on the highway (like the 18 wheeler incident) when running those longer distance hauls.

The Camaro is pretty impressive, packing a lot of high end features and insane performance.
Problem is, it should not be compared to the Boss 302. That's like comparing the Boss 302 to a Camaro SS.
Obviously the Camaro is the better car, this sums it up:
I am guessing the pressure went up due to the increase in tire temp? That would make the light go off before getting there.
Also, was it any colder by you recently?
So, how much technology can China steal from this and other deals with Manufacturers. In the not to distant future, even the cars we buy will be "Made in China"
