IUEC135ELEVATOR
Is anyone know if capacities are getting a bump in the 23 year?
CharlieKelley
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any specifications have been leaked about the new model year trucks. All we know is basically what it'll look like based on some camouflaged test trucks and one leaked video from the factory of the new dash. I suspect that we'll have to wait until Tuesday for any hope of details like towing and payload capacities. If I were you, I wouldn't expect any dramatic changes, though. But what do I know? Looked at my existing 2017 recently and it looks like capacity is restricted more to tire rating than to the physical truck. Not too many tire ratings higher than 126'
road turtle
I'd also suggest, the trucks are literally at the limits of class 3 trucks. Even tho the F450 is technically a class 4 truck, it's legally classified as a class 3.
SUPRPIG
Hints of more HP/Torque for 7.3L gas and HO 6.7L may raise slightly but not likely significant
Power Kid
I think gm bumped the 6.6 gas towing specs, due to 10 speed vs former 6. Like 1500lbs on some configurations. Keep in mind it was higher than 7.3 outside of 4.30s before this change. Should be interesting to see how Ford responds. Lots of 'best in class' quotes yesterday. HeavyAssault
Hey we all love "just a little more" in capability right?? I'm amazed at the weights these modern vehicles can easily manage.
Morgan92798
Now that trucks are actually coming in, here's my payload: 4203 lbs - 2023 F350 Lariat Ultimate, CCSWB, 7.3, FX4, 4.3 Gears, Sports Appearance Package, 5th Wheel Prep I'm actually quite impressed by that. I think that's maybe 400 lbs more than a similarly equipped 2022??? Edited April 19, 2023 by Morgan92798
