justins
As the title says, does Ford own the Velocity YT channel? Seems to be very pro-ford, with a smattering of videos for / about other makes...
Joe771476
Maybe. Just like NASCAR seems to be owned by Toyota. Toyota service trucks are being used and the announcers constantly describe the make and model of the Toyota pace car now! They never did that in the past! One of the original rules of NASCAR was "there will never be a foreign car on the field." Greedy capitalism won out!

Completely false. In the early days of NASCAR, many non-U.S. based automakers participated including Aston Martin, Austin-Healey, Citroën, Jaguar, MG, Morgan, Porsche, Renault, and Volkswagen.
silvrsvt
Could be just the way Google works and it’s showing you Ford advertising while on YT. Velocity was rebranded as Motortrend TV a few years back, so I may or may not be talking about the same thing

Jaguar even won a race in 1954 with Al Keller behind the wheel. 1
