2. On the last 3 show me something that says I am required to pay for anybody else's Education, Healthcare and Retirement. I don't think you will find anything because the Constitution did'nt include Socialism.

all i got was a rebate check and HE SAID he was going to lower taxes....i make alot less in the last two years then i made in 00 and 01 , yet i owe the same if not more....go figure...

The system is devised something like our unions. You go in to it with clear eyes and good ideas. It doesn't work!!!!! By the time you rise to the top, the system has morphed you into something totally different; and if it didn't, they do not give you pack money to further your career so you stay at the bottom with your idealistic views.

 

This is both partys!!!!!

 

The biggest threat to them is a third party, which is why when one attempts to emerge, they both do everything imaginable to stop it.

 

Look at the guy who ran for vice-president.(whos' name escapes me at the moment) He didn't follow party line, and in fact put some of both partys views and a few of his own out there. The dems revoked his cash, and nominated someone else for his seat.(actually, they supported someone else in the primarys, then convinced their base that he wasn't worth a damn because of one vote that many of them had made too)

 

I believe he won anyway as an independent which tells you if my facts are correct that he actually retained his seat, the dems weren't so much interested in who the people wanted, they were interested instead of someone they could control and keep on the reservation.

 

Remember when the debates were going on? Most were wishing after studying the depth of their answers; that the vice presidential candidates were the ones running for president, lol!!!!!!

 

LIEBERMAN, that was his name!!!!!!!!

 

Anyway, if it woulda been a republican, the same thing woulda happened. To all of them, it is about control!!!!!!!!

I read in Time magazine that he is tired of the "free trade" agreements that hurt American workers. Unlike Bill Clinton who supported big business with "free trade" like NAFTA. Edwards also supports unions and was at a rally against Wal-Mart, for pressing their workers to not unionize. This is the same Wal-Mart that is so F---ed up that China required Wal-Mart to allow Unions in some of the stores in China. Now whats that say about our govt???

 

If your tired of getting screwed over by paying taxes that go to companies to relocate overseas and free trade agreements that allow American companys to set up shop outside of the U.S. and than ship all of the product back here, than do your own research on Edwards and I think we can finally vote for a working persons president. We havent had any support for over 30 yrs. Hillary is just a Bush in girls clothes, and Obama is too green to get elected.

I did'nt pay any attention back then. Did he run in the election before he lost to? I remember him being in the lead and then dropping out. Then next election running and losing alot of his support.
