It looks much better then the teaster photo released the other day. my fav photo: I wonder what the MPG numbers are on the Fusion Sport, might have to look at one of those, but then again by the time I buy a new car, we'll have the Fusion/Mondeo merger by then

Thats too simplistic of a view, lets keep in mind that the Japanese domestic market is more or less locked out market for any foreign car makes due to the opposite problems that the Big 3 face, mostly patriotism towards buying domestically produced cars made in Japan and a difficult market to penetrate. Then we can talk about union problems and goverment assistnace that the Japanese makes get also. Its not just one thing that will fix it.

Those all season tires are great if your car is a daily driver like mine. I wouldn't mind high performance tires if I had it as a weekend only car...maybe in a couple years!

The Taurus has always been plagued with Transmission problems. But Every Ford Product my family owned in the 1990's was a solid car, only towards the end of the decade did issues start cropping up (Sisters Cougar had to have its steering rack replaced 3-4 times, but I think that was more of a dealership issue then the car itself)

Whats up with the grey surround on the grill...dont care for it minor performance bumps...15hp extra for the 4.6L and 10 for the 4L V6 Overall the car looks more "richy" looking then the out going model...I'd wait till the 5L comes out if I was going to get another.

I have to totally agree with what Autonews is saying, but GM needs new management if its going to fix anything. The US Government is going to really fuck itself if it does decide to let GM die out and let it take the rest of the auto industry with it.

So whats so different about the imports that people a are buying? The problem is that Ford and the rest of the Big 3 have serious image problems, not product problems. People got screwed one way or another and swore off the Big 3 and when their import has problems, its all about excuses because its an Import.

IMO the SVO looks stupid without the flush headlights on it. Anyways, IMO the weakest Mustangs looks wise was the 74-79 Pinto based Models. Otherwise the styling of the Mustang has been perfect since its inception. I grew up with the FOX 5L Mustangs, owned one of the "underpowered" 98 Mustang GT's and pretty much have perfection with the 06 Mustang GT I have now between styling and Performance.

Explorer in the next 18 months or so... But anyways, CAP isn't being fully utilized even with the sales of the Sable and Taurus X combined...hopefully the new Taurus will do much better.

Why not? They need some differentiation from the Sport Model of the Fusion, plus they stated that .5 seconds have been shaved off 0-60 times

The problem with that thinking is that when people buy a Foreign make and have problems with it, they make up excuses and don't hold it to the same standard that they did with an American car. Hell my Focus I had was a total Turd. But the Mustangs I had before and after it where just about flawless. I don't see myself buying a Japanese made car anytime soon...esp when I can get a Ford product at a good discount and its made just as well as those Japanese cars.

Ignoring the hideous color scheme on it, it looks alot better then the press teaser photo ford released!
