  1. Thanks! I looked at the Bullitts, but decided to stick with the GT to get the new A10. It did run 11's showroom stock with the A10. The Gen 3/A10, new nose and tail lights are what made me decide to finally buy a Mustang.
  2. I've been calling them every year for the last 4. I'm hopeful I can get the report before the car is gone.
  3. If Marti Auto works would finally decide to do reports on cars after 2017, we could easily obtain this info. in a "Marti Report" Been waiting four years for the 2018's, and they haven't done any newer than 2017. I recommend calling them though, they are the only ones who get the build data from Ford. More calls = more chances they may do newer reports.
  4. I really liked the 2018 Refresh, enough that I bought one. Ordering a 23 Maverick Hybrid next week.
  5. From what I hear Ford is really cranking these out lately. They are building 22's until 10/21, and start building 23's on 10/24. I am ordering one next week. Hopefully they finish all the 22 orders by the cut off date. Building 10K units a month might do it.
  6. Afull 50-60 cents cheaper than one month ago. Cheapest regular in the Chicago area is $4.54 today.
  7. Many people add them later. I own a LED lighting store, and get lots of customers doing this.
  8. I will, but Ford won't accept orders until ordering starts for 2023. They stopped taking orders like 6 months ago.
  9. True, it's the reason I haven't bought a maverick hybrid yet. No inventory for test drives, and greedy dealer ADM's if they do have one. I guess I'll order a 23 and test drive it when it arrives.
  10. Technology has changed a lot in over 50 years. Why not resurrect the Flathead? Or Model T? The new engine will be more fuel efficient, pass current emissions, and be just as capable power wise.
  11. Not going to happen. The days of Notchback Mustangs has sailed. Virtually everyone wants Fastbacks, even when buying the Classics. The only reason Fox body notch cars got popular is they were lighter than the Hatchbacks. Ford has already said that the Roof and rear window are carry overs from the S550. So no notchbacks.
  12. Yes, that's why the 7.3 makes so much torque. It would make a lot of HP if it had 4 valves instead of 2.
  13. Horsepower yes, torque no. That's the 2V vs. 4V differences.
  14. My dad did this in the 60's to early 70's. Cost him about $300 a year to upgrade to a new truck.
  15. Never saw the 0-130 figure before for the GT. Good to see my Mustang is quicker to 130. Ford needs to go back to the drawing board though, as Chevy's C8 Z06 will be stealing some reputatation at a fraction of the price. It would be nice if Ford had something to play with the Vette using mid engine and V8. The Ford GT is amazing, just too unobtainable.
  16. Of course they are. Truck buyers are concerned with actual real life numbers. Two completely different mindsets.
  17. Very important for trucks actually being worked. EPA ratings mean nothing when towing.
  18. Maybe empty, 6.8 should get better MPG towing as the 5.0 does.
  19. Except that spontaneous melting of blocks in AZ.
  20. Yet the 6.6 Duramax & 6.7 Powerstroke have been using aluminum heads for 10+ years without issues.
  21. Sure, because All other aluminum engines melt in AZ.
  22. Buyers products makes powdercoated steel pads for the magnets to grab. They attach with 3M VHB tape. 8895404 is the number for a pack of 4. I sell them in my store.
  23. Probably that was the stroke length that gave them the RPM needed for a specific performance number. Just like the 429/460's. The 429's always felt stronger with their faster revving powerband.
  24. I use E85 in my 2018 Mustang (tuned for it). Requires more frequent fill ups, but the power is amazing.
