The whole purpose of my post which you have taken several places are that the rich are getting richer, the middle class is going away and will be poor if the trend continues. I did carry the example further and sorry you have a comprehension problem but I was trying to say if the gap between the rich and poor continues there will be a breaking point.

I first stated that this is another law by the rich for the rich. Other examples are most tax loopholes, reducing max. taxes from 90% in the 50's to 70% in the 70's to less than 40% in the 90's to today's 36%. That is the basis for my entire argument. That as the gap continues to widen there will eventually be a revolution(of some sort). As the gap widens and the percentage of the uber rich increases to maybe 5% then the group is too large to be controlled and the pooch is screwed. The civil rights I implied would be the cause for the revolution would be somewhere on Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs between food and community. I accept that this is a little out there but it has happened before (French Revolution and others) and could happen here if we continue on the current path. We have too much of I, I, I, I, and me, me, me, me, and crying mine, mine, mine like my 2 year old grandson.

1st let me state that I do believe in the United (as in union) States of America. So it will not start in Raleigh or even NC. I'm retired with 2 sons living close and each has 2 children. Right now we need 3 vehicles if all are traveling together. I would certainly consider the C-Max except the low ride because I need more ride height in my next vehicle. We will probably have to look @ the Explorer if we get 3 rows. If I were younger I would certainly have this high on my list.

One of the highest taxes on US companies versus other countries is government supported health care. You mention our neighbors to the north, they have basic free health care the companies don't have to pay.

I agree with you about law (have to) versus Grace (want to). First as a Christian I know I get better than I deserve and should want to (not have to) share that with other to show Christianity and Christ. Second is Christ paid the FULL price. Third I was not telling others how to live, I just pointed out that all of the conservative arguments were about ME and not US which I think is hypocritical, of which I am also guilty. Fourth the concept of compassion and community is something of a higher order that is foundational of and for our constitution and country.

I voted for Ford before the market opened and I have also voted with my $$$ with stock and two Ford vehicles. I have made about $50,000 over the last year or so on Ford and I think I will make more over the next 3 to 4 years.

I'm with you blackhorse, just because someone says they have facts and research does not mean squat. Some people just want to be led.
