  1. If this is what we are getting. Then holy that is NICE. :shades:
  2. I'm not a big fan of the Expi's exterior. I know it is essentially the same thing, but somehow the Navi just looks better to me..
  3. That is a neat feature that is also found in the Sequoias as well. All rows recline and the 2nd row slides forward for easy access to the 3rd row. The middle seat in the second row also slides forward closer to the front passengers - another neat feature for those with little kids. My brother's S-Max apparently has this feature as well. I'm definitely in the market for a big family vehicle, and my heart says Navi, but from a price point the Suburban seems to be the best deal, yet the 'Yoda (most expensive) is closest to a minivan feature-wise without being one. Any info. on a redesigned Expi/Nav? Sorry for rambling off topic... Yeah this Sienna is ugly as all minivans are, but at least it looks better than the current one (YIKES!)
  4. That 2011 Sierra already looks dated and older than an 09 F150. Isn't Ford bringing an all-new F150 by 2012?
  5. The 6.2L isn't for everyone and anyone that concerned with towing will just get a diesel. Having 6.X hasn't worked miracles for GM and Dodge apparently. I am glad they will offer the option though :happy feet:
  6. I'm confident that the redesigned 300C and Charger will carry this company to a rosy profitable future for decades to come.
  7. They could have made it look better. It looks like a photochop. A bad one at that.
  8. If the Sienna worked, just get another one. I think they're fugly but I must admit they're reliable, well-built, and get the job done. Mercury should have a family hauler that isn't so damn polarizing as the MKT and Flex. IMO, one is a box, and the other is a nasty bling station wagon. I wish Mercury would have something in the dimensions of a Buick Enclave...offering nice cargo space, elegance, and good mileage.
  9. Why are so many people against a government-run insurance? All I hear from Fox news is how incapable government is, etc. Why? Because private corporations, on the other hand, have put the well-being of Americans ahead of their bottom line? Right... I can understand the slippery slope and I don't care for government or greedy corporations either, but a plan to insure EVERY American doesn't merit the President to be called a Nazi or Socialist. I think Fox News is made up by a bunch of f*gs that don't have the balls to call Obama what they really really want to call him. It starts with N and ends in -er. HINT: It isn't Nation Builder. I don't mean to disrespect as we all our entitled to our opinion. I just wonder if those attacking Obama for everything also attacked Bush. Just curious. I respect all your opinions, I truly do, I just can't see the logic opposing something that will truly help our Nation's people. I guess I'm a minority, but I'd gladly pay an extra 3-5K more in taxes as long as I know that EVERY American can be covered. Mexico (yes 3rd World) has a system where the private insurace competes with federally-subsidized insurance and it works. Really. You work a decent job, the private insurance will supplement the fedeal insurance and gives you access to the fancy hospitals, etc. Before you flame me, show me evidence of how it doesn't work. I have dental insurace here in the states, and still get my procedures done over in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon as I've experienced better care and nice facilities than I have here.
  10. Helfman Ford in Sugar Land has a black one. Best looking truck I've ever seen and totally agree that it's a Supertruck. I went in to see the 2009 Platinum and came out respecting the F150 even more after seeing the Raptor. These trucks make the new Ram and Silverado seem old and dull. My opinion of course...
  11. I was picking up my son at daycare the other day and briefly chatted with another Dad about his new pickup. It was 2009 black Lariat 4x4. He's Indian, never owned a Ford, never owned a Truck, and he's telling me all about this truck and how great it is. He mentioned the extra 6" legroom in the crewcab, etc. I guess these trucks are winning over people that would never consider a pickup! And I totally agree with you, the Platinum is just stunning. In the heart of Texas here, I'm seeing 10 new F150s everyday and my commute is only 3 miles! Come next summer and if I'm still employed, I'll be in the market for something big and roomy. I love the F150s but at the same time I'm looking at the SUVs. I don't particularly like the Expedition (don't hate it), sorta like the Tahoe (hate the 3rd row), and regretfully admit I kinda like the Sequoia Then again, I do need a truck/SUV and that's where the F150 fits the bill. :happy feet:
  12. I like it. I'd never buy one, but I like it. It's better than everything Honda's thrown out lately.
  13. Not meaning to go way off topic, but when will the 3.X Ecoboost be available for the F150? 25 HWY MPG sounds pretty good!
  14. I give kuddos to Toyota for keeping the 4Runner true to its roots. A comfortable, offroad capable BOF SUV that gets decent mileage and has an excellent reliability record. I miss mine.
  15. At quick glance it kinda looks like a Silverado and Sierra from the front. Then it doesn't anymore. And then I like it even more.
  16. Can that grill get any bigger? Oh well, function of form and overall I like it better than the previous one. The interior is impressive IMO.
  17. Arguably, I'd say the only Asian automaker that does inject some personality in their cars is Nissan/Infinity. I'm really liking their car designs. Trucks/SUVs not so much though.
  18. It looks like a bastard offspring from a Hummer H3 and Jeep Compass/Patriot. Ugh, GM should've been left to die.
