  1. My 11 year old “that thing looks awesome. It’s an electric Mustang? Can we get one?” I have a tough time with his response. I just can’t seem to get excited about electric vehicles. Maybe I’m getting old. Maybe I just need to give in. I feel like I’ll miss the sense of sound in an electric. My 6 year old said it looks wicked. He wants it too. for now I’ll stick with my 8250 redline in my 350R
  2. Hate to see it go. We are on our third Flex. Great vehicle for a family of 5 and to top it off it’s a great highway cruiser. I am amazed that my Expedition gets a full 2 MPG more than the wife’s Flex.

  5. The next couple years will be interesting for Ford. The table is set for some pretty cool vehicles. Raptor with 700 hp GT500 Bronco Bronco Raptor? lincoln Mustang inspired coupe? Explorer ST Mach E (or whatever they call it) Mustang inspired SUV 7.3 motor RWD platform for explorer/aviator too bad we don’t get the ST/RS Focus good time to be a Ford fan

  7. Levine clarified the Mach 1 name to Jalopnik. Look at their article and it listed as update at 6PM. Its a damn shame that in the article Levine has to update them twice after the release. #butchered
  8. Anyone else feel like they butchered this whole thing. I watched the release video a couple times and had no clear idea what Ford was trying to say. Then mike Levine tweets about the vehicle and its not clear. Then Mike Levine tweets again to clarify his original tweet. He also tweets that the Mach 1 name is just being tested. Tested? Test it with a small group not the whole world. Who is running the show? This was poorly executed in my opinion.
  9. http://www.autoblog.com/2016/07/23/2017-ford-f-150-raptor-pricing-leaked/ I almost expected it to be higher. Still a ton of money but reasonable considering where it lands in the current lineup
  10. 50,000 miles on a 2012 F150 Supercrew 4X4 and according to the MPG readout, I have averaged 16.0 MPG for the 50,000 miles. I am good with that considering how much time my truck spends at the job site (low speed, idle time). I can get close to 20 on the highway running 70 ish MPH. You can def tell a difference in the way you drive it.
  11. 700 miles of highway and the rest mixed city driving plus three extended idling periods to feed a 2 year old and an 8 month old. Most of the highway driving was 75MPH in the mountains so there are several long pulls up the hills. I am impressed with the MPG for the trip taken.
  12. I thought I would share my real world MPG for a 900 mile trip taken this past weekend. The truck is a 2011 F150 Supercrew 4X4 5.0L with 3.73 gears.
  13. The article also lists the Focus Wagon. Maybe I haven't paid enough attention to the Focus line but I didn't expect to see the Focus wagon make it back into the US lineup.
  14. I am dying to hear some real world reviews of the 5XR. Rumor has it the Stage 3 will come with even more hp.
  15. The T-Bird is the perfect way for Ford to build a performance car with the 3.5L EB without confusing the Mustang line up.
  16. The bin that runs along the shifter has one cup holder and a cell phone slot (fits smart phones perfectly).
  17. I have no issues with my SHO either. I am impressed with the fit and finish. My car was built in July.
  18. Did this come from your dealer or Ford? I was an early order and waited a long time. I want one of those. lol
  19. We have had our car a little over a month now and I have to say the SHO is a great car. Truth be told the SHO is my wife's daily driver. She is amazed how many people stop and ask about her car. I told her when we ordered it that she just didn't understand how cool a car she was getting. lol. She just can't fathom the thought of someone actually caring about a car that much to ask a complete stranger how they like it. As for the car, we both love it. It is an awesome highway cruiser. It is much better in the MPG department than our XC90 V8 (we typically return around 22 MPG with mixed city driving). The car has tons of room. The baby stroller nicely tucks in the trunk in either direction and leaves plenty of room for the rest of the gear. The backseat room is very comfortable. My father in law is a tall guy (6' 5") and he did have some trouble getting into the front seat but as he said "that's why I drive a Navigator". The thrust of the car is a bit of an odd sensation. There is very little audible sense of the speed. Coming from other performace cars this has taken some getting used to. I think the size of the car also makes the feel of speed a bit different. Maybe my mind just thinks a car this big should not have thrust this strong? The SHO is everything I want in a car. Awesome Job Ford.
  20. My SHO has finally "released" but still has a delivery date of TBD. One step closer.
  21. SCrew would seal the deal for me too. Not enough rear seat room in the SC for me.
  22. I should have listened to you because my car is sitting waiting to be shipped. It was built mid July and now sits on Ramp 79. Whatever that means? I am anxiously awaiting word.
