  1. Anyone who sues over the 7 slot grille will lose because Mahindra shares a common ancestry with AMC. They started by building Willy's Jeeps in the 40's, so they have as much right to the grille as Hummer and Jeep.
  2. The bad part was Saturn was very well defined when it first came out, but they failed to grow the brand and kept one model unchanged for too long.
  3. How's this for an accessory? A mullet wig. seriously, these car accessory things make a car, which looks good, look cheap like the 80's versions.
  4. They've done this for years. Those cars sell in small numbers. There was a post a few weeks ago that showed how few sell in Japan.
  5. The current news report says it was a bomb.
  6. It would be good if Lincoln's line up was more complete, but they always had a small selection. Today's Lincoln has more product than I ever remember(5 products soon to be 6 with MKT).
  7. That is so terrible. I work in a warehouse and I know how easy it is for something bad to happen, and when it does, how quickly it can happen. I hope her family gets a great deal of support in this tough time.
  8. Wait... Didn't they already do a car like this? It was called a Cien or something and it was a 2 seater.
  9. I love that the scalloped sides like the Mustang and other classic Fords are back! This was a feature of the 96-2006 that I liked.

  13. 87 EXP 93 Escort GT (lease) 94 Taurus SHO (lease) 96 Taurus SHO (lease) 99 Mercuyr Sable 05 Mustang
  14. I know I said this before, but isn't it ironic that the party who won't bail out Detroit drive domestic cars and the party that wants to save them drives foreign.
  15. Quote from the article: "With gasoline prices falling, some argued that Ford should abandon its costly plan to retool North American truck factories to produce smaller, more fuel-efficient cars from Europe." The price of gas is no longer revelant. The Cafe standards demand smaller cars. There's no backing out of this now. Most cars sold must be smaller.

  17. It doesn't matter how low fuel prices go anymore. The CAFE regulations will still be there. Ford is wise to make smaller cars.
