  1. With a new engine and transmission I think it would be a perfect vehicle for me. After the Ranger is gone, isn't the TC the only vehicle left with a four speed?
  2. And the MkX MCE was different from the Fusion MCE how?
  3. The funnel is for the capless fuel system - if you run out of gas roadside you need the funnel to fill it.
  4. Not to completely agree with BORG, but both the Focus and Explorer, vehicles I was looking forward to, are not my cup of tea - the designs are kind of all over the place. I may still end up with a focus, but only because I dislike it least of it's class. I'm very worried what the Escape turns out like. I'll probably wait to see it before replacing my Escape anyway.
  5. The NV200 is more of a TC. The NV1500 and NV2500 are their full size vans.
  6. Well, I was on the passenger side, so no. Had I been on the drivers side I would have. I have the same keypad on my Flex.
  7. Again, it's the NV200. It's a real van. It's made by Nissan. It's just not sold here, yet. Here's the UK page for the van.
  8. Once the Ranger is gone, is the TC the only Ford vehicle without a 6 speed auto?
  9. I love the keypad on my Flex. Like the capless fuel filler, it's a small thing I would miss if I were to get a car without it, which is a good thing for Ford.
  10. Saw my second Explorer in the wild. This time it was parked in front of a building and I was able to get a much better look at it. Really sharp dark blue color, looked much better in person.
  11. Yeah, doesn't Nissan have a similar naming relationship to transit/transit connect with their new full size van and small van? That's a current non-north american Nissan van. Nissan NV200
  12. Yeah, it looks like the logo is on a black football. The Euro-Fiesta has a logo that fills the dent in the hood.
  13. Thanks for the pics. I've never. Been sold on the front end - the crash bar for the license plate seems like an afterthought, and the black part around the oval seems a mistake (like the logo should have been bigger)
  14. Explorer is shorter in length than Flex (Not sure how they compare in weight), and has the new 3.5 (Ti-VCT). I'd hope it would beat it.
  15. Do you believe Ford stock is 100% owned by Americans/Companies?
  16. No, but I have heard "Form ever follows function" (Sometimes quoted as "Form Follows Function") which is a quote from Louis Henri Sullivan, one of the pioneers of the "Chicago School" of Architecture. (And is considered by many to have been a mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright, who had worked in his office) (And I should note that Sullivan's buildings, some of the earliest steel highrise structures, had a significant amount of ornament. People who use the quote as an argument for minimalism miss the original meaning)[/architecture graduate]
  17. I'd bet the money you'd get for leaving the wheels on the ZX3 would pale compared to getting new wheels and tires for the wagon. I'd bet it wouldn't really impact the speed at which it sells either.
  18. Sounds like he still has the old Focus too? Why not swap them yourself? BTW - I've always been a fan of the wagon too, but the ZX3 still looks sweet.
  19. I thought the MkT did a nice job of the full width tail (though otherwise the rear is not it's strong suit)
