Rainbow....Not too many people are aware when new people from another ford facility bring their seniority "with" them. This is what happend at Rawsonville when some AAI workers were brought in with their seniority. No one was laid off. They packed everyone in then re-shuffled the (seniority) deck. And yes we were all afraid of getting screwed. A friend of mine at the rouge said it just happened to them before Christmas, mysteriously a group of people came from Rawsonville with high seniority and the rouge group has less seniority. Your thoughts are closer to the truth if you ask me. Just my 2 cents.

You are exactly right a lot of people have been lucky enough to stay at our home plant, and I'm one of them.

sweetlid, this is a bit off topic , but is it true that 250 people from Saline are being "moved" (not at their request) over to CAP? I know the trades people are on pins and needles with the decision(s) they will have to make. Good luck to you all.

I wouldn't give up a FORD legacy pay rate & Seniority for a "newbie" pay rate no matter where in the Ford World I worked. Just not worth it financially.
