Amen! I have heard so many times "I can drive that, I have a mini van ". The seating position is like on a kitchen chair in those vans. The center of gravity is way higher. Then add the people. People should be trained.

It doesn't really bother me if they kill the Mercury brand, it's been gone for a few years up here. Bring the cougar back as a Ford, I don't care, just bring it back! I still want a luxury two door. I never liked four doors, never will. I'd even buy a two door Taurus, if you look there is a thread I started a while back on that.

Icey road? How fast was he going? I don't think a Chevy would have done much of a difference. At impact, do you think any other van would had stood up any better?

As it seems, at the moment Ford can't get enough components for the Escape Hybrid. How could they produce a hubrid version of the most selling vehicle?

Maybe Ford is underating it on purpose. Remember when the last F150 came out? They posted lower payload numbers and Nissan with thier Titan fell for it. Then, boom! They came out with the real numbers. Or was I not supposed to say anything? :unsure: -
Personally, I think the cougar should go back to it's roots. A Mustang based luxury car. No 4 doors, no wagons, CUV or whatever. Just a luxurious 2 door coupe or rag top. :glare:

This is one hot little ride. I think it will draw in sales from the "It's crap if it's made here" crowd. Even if it's imported, it's better that people buy our imports vs someone else's.
