  1. https://www.autospies.com/news/WHICH-Best-Selling-Sedan-Is-DYING-FASTER-Honda-Accord-Or-Toyota-Camry-102938/ All sedans are losing ground including the top two... and even with greatly reduced competition!
  2. Maybe they made them orange to stir speculation and gauge excitement for a PHEV model on the forums... yea, like that would really happen, lol!
  3. Sure are... have those on our Aviator GT!!! They seem to confirm this: https://www.tflcar.com/2020/08/2022-ford-bronco-hybrid-leak-news/ Time to start saving and selling off some of our old fleet!
  4. My suspension is working great so far... what is the part on backorder that failed? Where did you find out about the 47 with the same problem?
  5. rampagex7... what's the electronic module thats velcroed to the engine bay cross bar?
  6. No room in the GT for the catch can or the clean side separator...
  7. My GT is Blue Diamond also and I agree with rampagex7 that the 21" GT wheels are the best... IMO they're nicest looking wheels I've ever seen! Going by the 2021 Order Guide it looks like all the wheels are the same except the 22" Reserve wheels are available in black with the monochromatic package. The 21" GT wheels are also now standard on all GT trim levels.

  9. Froggie, except for the bad communication I don't think you were that unlucky. I ordered my Grand Touring on July 6th 2019... it was then built on December 5th, released for shipment on December 28th and wasn't delivered to my dealer until March 3rd 2020, even though my estimated transit time was only 11 days... 22 days less than yours! It was stuck in ramp jail at the plant for nearly two months and my dealer couldn't explain why. GTs take longer to produce because painted bodies are transported from CAP to a special hybrid assembly line several blocks away for final assembly, then they go back to CAP for QC.
  10. Froggie, you're getting a Grand Touring and they have been taking quite a bit longer from ordering to delivery than the standard Aviator models. Other than poor communication from your salesperson, it looks like everything else is legit so far... you have a retail customer order and a beautiful Aviator GT is currently in transit to your dealer! It also looks like you did your research and ordered it in a way to get all of the options and still get the 2nd row bench seat. The GTs couldn't be configured that way when I ordered mine last year, so I chose the deluxe 2nd row consol instead.
  11. The 2021 Lincoln Ocean Drive Blue color is just a fancy name for Ford Infinite Blue... they are both Color Code AB. The 2020 Lincoln Blue Diamond color was also just a fancy name for Ford Blue, which really needed a fancier name anyway, lol. Infinite Blue (Explorer)/Ocean Drive Blue (Aviator) is also one of Mach-E colors and looks like this:
  12. A shortened Explorer probably wouldn't look that good without some major restyling, but a shortened Aviator should look just like a shorter Aviator... or longer Corsair, lol!
  13. Froggie, transitdate: "33" is the approximate transit time in days from the shipment date to the final delivery date to your dealer. It's just an approximation, so it could arrive sooner or later depending on rail delays along the way. The tracker doesn't always show some of the updates... like it may miss showing the shipment date but still show that its in transit. Hopefully Fuzzymoomoo will be able to locate it for you!
  14. Just found this... confirms Powersplit gas/electric hybrid drive powering the front wheels plus an additional electric motor with single speed gearbox and differential for the rear wheels: All-New-Lincoln-Corsair-Grand-Touring-Fact-Sheet.pdf
  15. The next gen Edge/Nautilus should have been easy... just make shortened two row versions of Explorer, Explorer Hybrid, Aviator, and Aviator Grand Touring and call them Edge, Edge Hybrid, Nautilus, and Nautilus Grand Touring.
  16. Our 09 Expy Limited AC still works great for all rows... has never been recharged.
  17. Pretty sure the front wheels are powered by a typical Ford powersplit hybrid drive system like in the Escape hybrid, but maybe with a bigger electric motor for the PHEV models. Then the Corsair adds another electric motor at the rear for AWD.
  18. The way I understand it is the Corsair has a second electric motor at the rear differential... so the rear wheels are EV only.
  19. The Escape PHEV is FWD only and the Corsair GT adds the additional electric motor for the rear wheels... so the combined horsepower and torque is greater.
  20. https://www.google.com/amp/s/cleantechnica.com/2019/11/21/lincoln-corsair-grand-touring-plugin-hybrid/amp/ The Corsair GT drivetrain is a combination of the Escape Hybrid/PHEV FWD system and EV rear drive... according to this article the setup has several additional benefits, not just elimination of the driveshaft to a rear differential to make room for the battery.
  21. It was debunked by other outside studies, not the health systems own internal results. Henry Ford never claimed it was highly effective, but their statistics were significant enough to show it helped save some lives... so IMO it should remain on EUA status as an option for doctors and their patients to consider. I don't look for Google results that meet my expectations, but their top results are ALWAYS from the same places for some reason... and that's not good enough for me. Now Back to talking about Ford vehicles... not Ford health systems, lol.
  22. And a simple google search, worded to get past the higher ranking results they want you to see, also gives this actual information... from a reputable health system and dated this month: https://www.henryford.com/news/2020/07/hydro-treatment-study
  23. They must be able to build rivited aluminum body models on the same line as welded steel body models because Super Duty converted to aluminum for the 17 MY and Expy/Navi didn't convert until the 18 MY.
