  1. I didn't realize that was just a lightbar. What's the point of that? No wonder nobody gets them. Anyways, I agree, the Mustang needs some type of rollover protection system behind the rear passenger. I would say they could use a pop-up rollbar like used in the C70 and BMW convertibles (like 3-,6-series, not Z4) (see picture below), but it might be too expensive a system for a Mustang, since Ford tries to keep the price down on them. Maybe that system could be used on higher models, while twin or single hoops could be standard? See the black things behind the rear headrests, those are the pop-up rollover bars.
  2. Wow, some strange things can happen sometimes.
  3. That's interesting....I guess at least they were there, unlike Porsche and Aston Martin.
  4. Sounds good, post pictures for us when you put them on so we can see how they look. I'm curious, to put the pics of your Edge in your signature, did you use photobucket?
  5. I didn't know that. I agree that it was smart to remove the lower handle. IMO, if customers wouldn't be using it anyways, why waste money putting it in.
  6. I can't remember exactly, it was probably here that I saw estimated prices, but the number $60,000 for loaded models is what I'm remembering, not sure about lower models. Don't quote me on that number though, because that's just a guess really.
  7. Thanks, Tim does great work. I mentioned I didn't realize he did them because I saw them over at AutoWeek's Combustion Chamber before it was shut down.
  8. MS Paint is all I do my chops in. Those look good. Maybe a full width (one long hoop) rollover bar would look good as well, like optional on last-gen models. I guess they offer one on the current model though, that's the one I was thinking of:
  9. I hope you enjoy your vacation and delivery.
  10. That is much more simple than I though it'd be. It seems strange that that's all that keeps the door handles on.
  11. I think you may be right. Then the diesel and EcoBoost 6.2s will follow a year or so later, as you said. The Navigator will be recieving the 6.2 first, and I believe it's coming for 09 models (maybe '10 models?).
  12. http://www.leftlanenews.com/lincoln-mkt.html Theres more pictures for you to enjoy. The front looks good. The interior --it's a concept, so it doesn't matter. The back, from the back view looks ok, however in a side profile, I dont like the rear end, the way it slopes down as it does, it should be more straight up and down, IMO. A mixture between Flex and this would be good, I'm thinking.
  13. Thanks, forgot to mention that part.
  14. The show's official name is "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"
  15. 09 F-150 will have SYNC, so I'd assume Expy and Navigator will get it soon. I saw a blue Navigator once, it looked nice. I think it was a different blue than the dark ink though. The dark ink looks almost black, even in direct sunlight.
  16. Appears it's not dead yet.... http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index...showtopic=20198
  17. I found this on the Lincoln website. Unfortunately it appears to be simply another F-150 rebadge, this time of the Platinum model. www.lincoln.com/reachhigher/2009_Mark_LT Just kidding..... It's a chop I did of the Lincoln emblem on the new Platinum F-150
  18. I was thinking that too as I looked at the pictures. Does the vehicle look smaller than the current one to any of you? I agree with you about the Explorer comment.
  19. That's what I'm thinking. The front looks good. That front 3/4 view looks silly to me. But, as you said, I'll wait for additional pics tomorrow. I agree that there's definitely nothing Flex about it, other than the D3's Flexible designs.
