I agree w/ this plan, although the MKC, IMO, should wait a while until the rest of the lineup has great quality (which it does already), is completely separate (design-wise, inside and out) from Ford, and has built it's own new following. Basically wait on the MKC until the new Lincoln lineup is established.

suv_guy, you might enjoy this: I can't find a picture of the new Econoline ambulance.

That is a good picture of the Malibu. I agree with you that the headlights look a little odd. I think part of the grille's problem is that the horizontal band going through the grille it too thick. I think if they made the band more proportional to the size emblem they put in there, it'd look better. (and I don't think tacking on a bigger emblem would help either). That said, I think Chevy did a great job with the car, definitely better than the model it replaces.

I was reading some of the comments, the one guy owns an MKZ and an SRX, , so obviously he liked the MKZ enough to buy one over the CTS. Sounds like he bought his SRX before the MKX was out.

Does anybody know if the new Mercury Voga trim line extends to the Hybrid Mariner as well?

Well thanks, I just realized I forgot to split the rear door window to allow for it to roll down properly.

I'm not the biggest fan of the wheels either. The front clip looks ok to me though. I didn't realize the Mondeo convertible chop was based on the Focus CC, they did a good job disguising it.

You're right about the 6 way, that's how it is in our Expedition and F-150. I've thought out the 32 way power seat (actually I believe I have 34 way thought out), but I'm not even going to try to describe that. I drew a picture, maybe I'll scan it in to show you instead of explaining.

I'm undecided on the design of the front and rear of the new Malibu.

The dead pedal, IMO, goes for ALL Ford products. I agree w/ you about the center console w/ gear shifter on Super Duty.

Well if Ford fails to advertise the retail version (like Five Hundred/Taurus and Freestyle/Taurus X) then you would keep the public guessing as to what vehicle it's unbadged fleet counterpart is, otherwise, I think the buying public would be able to tell what the vehicle is.

You wouldn't need to have new dealearships, just sell and operate like the current Ford Fleet system works, just w/ differently branded vehicles.

Name....simply FLEET Ford Fleet.
