  1. The whole deal about avoiding buying a 2.7 because some former engineer who won't go into detail etc. etc. If there were some significant underpinning type longevity problems with the 2.7, do you really think that some engineer would leak NDA type information (former employee or not) and that the Automotive Press would not have already been unearthing the skeletons???
  2. Thanks a ton Cyberdman!!! So it looks like it might be at my dealer tomorrow?
  3. LOL... I do kind of wish at least from year to year, much less model to model Ford could carry the same designations for trim levels. Not only do we have as others have pointed out... Limited, Platinum, Titanium, Reserve etc. etc. But to have Platinum be the big dog one year on the F-150 to the very next year drop platinum and have Limited be the top trim level. Geeeesshhhh.. are they purposely trying to confuse us?
  4. O.k. so getting past the life choices for those who see no problem in spending this kind of coin... leasing etc. etc. Will the Limited be the top dog for 2016, no more Platinum?
  5. Ahhh gotcha... do we know much about Model 3? Given the price differential will this be the Yugo of Tesla or will it only be good for 90 miles or something
  6. I would greatly appreciate any info/status you could provide on VIN #2LMTJ8LP9GBL31346. Thanks bunches!!! Rayo
  7. So this OP makes this sound like its been a common problem. I wonder if this is what my Wife's 2013 Titanium is doing. I have noticed it for a long time, but I would call it a very low toned, fairly quiet clunk that can be heard at slow speeds, turning around parking lots, braking etc.
  8. So will the Model X be truly considered the "Entry Level" vehicle in their lineup or is there something cheaper?
  9. I have not received anything, but not sure I signed up for a brochure. Will go back and do that.
  10. I just don't buy into this kind of propaganda. If there were some behind the scenes conversations to back this up and it was leaked, your telling me the Auto News Media would not have already been all over it and Nancy Drew'd it to death????
  11. Yup... I think the Volvo program is pretty cool. I would sign up in a heartbeat to go up to Oakville and drive home my new MKX or just drive it off the line, but I am close enough I could pretty much just drive it home. I am only about 7 hours away.
  12. Agree!!! As a guy that tends to order a new Ford product every couple of years, the agony of the wait and lack of status updates is a bummer.
  13. Exactly!!! Years ago when the Sportrac still existed, I contemplated buying one for quite a while. Ended up with an Explorer... but always like the idea. Same with the Chevy Avalanche and Honda Ridgeline, always liked those concepts.
  14. I keep hearing people say Verizon will eventually move all to GSM and get away from the non-standard CDMA based stuff. Does this seem like a reliable rumor?
