I believe electric vehicles will eventually lose traction. I can refill my fuel tank in under 5 minutes! Now unless we're running out of fossil fuel, how can you beat that? What if we run out of Lithium? Or what if the mining companies or mine owners withhold it someday? This all in the name of reducing our carbon footprint because some scientists came up with this greenhouse gas model 50 years ago! Really? These same scientists who said Pluto was a planet, now it's not? The ones who say milk and eggs are good one year, second year not, third year good again? Or the ones who draw 10 possible paths of an impending hurricane because they really don't know where it's going! . I'll say this again for those who missed it. You can't reduce the carbon footprint of a carbon based planet! Without Carbon and CO2, we'd be dead! Every human exhales 2.2 lbs. of CO2 per day. These tree companies want to cut down trees (which take in CO2) within 30 feet of every power line and road in the name of safety. If they had their way, they'd cut down every tree on the planet! Well that's how they eat! Something wrong there, wouldn't you say? I've etched things in boulders at beaches 40 years ago at high tide at midnight (maximum) and the ocean level hasn't risen! All the cars and industrial plants in the world don't emit what human exhalation, rotting vegetation and volcanoes do! But let's believe these scientists for a moment. They say we've had climate change events for millions of years! Forgive the capitals, but THERE WERE NO CARS AND INDUSTRIAL PLANTS BACK THEN!!

Sometimes I wonder if the rush to electric vehicles is for another reason. Are we running out of fossil fuel? Are they telling us everything? How long will it last, or for that matter, how long will lithium last? I think it's time to consider going back to mustangs and broncos. I don't mean the 4 WHEELED Ford ones, I mean the 4 LEGGED ones........real horsepower! Fuel source? Grass and hay!

I just saw the most confounding TV ad for Audi. Now I know Audi is part of VW, and VW and Ford have a joint venture agreement where VW will sell rebranded Ford Transits. But why would an Audi commercial show 20 Ford Transits with the blue oval in full view? It's insane! Why show a competitor's vehicle?

Why should I buy a car if I'm not going to drive it? EV's and autonomous vehicles have a long way to go when it comes to convincing buyers.

I'm going to my nearby CT DOT garage which is near where I saw the F750, but I never actually saw it pull into the facility. We'll see if I was seeing things and I'll also try to find out how many were purchased AND to see if the DOT went to Ford, or if Ford offered some for trial testing. Would they do that? I just read on Ford Authority that an Abington MA F550 ambulance has been waiting for an engine for months! There's no excuse for it! I don't want to hear about supply chain shortages! It's the latest gimmick!

It's called the dumbing down of America. These kids in school today can't be given failing grades because it will hurt their feelings! So we graduate them year after year into college and then engineering school and then they're going to design bridges that will collapse someday while your great grandkids are driving over them!
